While at one point the only campus for York University when it was founded as a University this campus has a long history of French and linguistic studies. Situated just off Bayview at Lawrence it backs on to the nicest wooded areas of Toronto making one believe they are on an ancient European Campus.

Recently spent time at the sports center of York University to watch the Memorial Seahawks pre-season basketball games. This proved to be very exciting and I couldn't believe how quickly the game time passed. I wish more spectators had been in attendance to watch these young women play two fast and furious games.

Completed two degrees here and the campus isn't great, except the commons near vari hall (nice lawn lined by trees). Nothing else positive to say about this place

To be honest, this is a little biased, we are students at York U and we have had a very positive experience, we understand most people reading these reviews are not looking for what to do after high school and what their continuing education options are so we will focus on what there is to see at York U. The Bayview address is the satellite campus for York University known as the Glendon Campus or Glendon College. This small campus which has about 2700 students is near Sunnybrook Hospital and was a family home originally before it was bequeathed to York University. Capitalizing on the small size this Bilingual College promotes small classes and a quality learning environment where... More

We attended York University's open house today....and was it ever impressive. Nothing like the place I attended many years ago. The tours were in small groups and showed us everything we wanted to see. York has some first class facilities such as the brand new engineering building.

Every corner have a history, every building is worth visiting. When you go there you know you are in an interesting place, and all the environment is inviting. Also, the people around there can be really friendly.

Visited the campus with my niece yesterday for their open house. Walking the grounds brought so many memories of my 4 years there. Such a beautiful campus with an amazing education system. Can't ask for anything more.
