Wonderful place to visit for all ages
Jan. 2021
Wonderful place to visit for all ages. We purchased an annual membership when are children were young and even after going a bunch of times they were still excited. Plan to spend at least half of a day exploring, lots of places to sit and watch the fish.

Awesome aquarium experience
Jul. 2020
We visited the aquarium in early July 2020. We felt quite safe, as they were limiting the number of visitors. They were also collecting contact info for contact tracing. Everyone had their temperatures checked and hands sanitized prior to entry. Every passageway and staircase were marked for unidirectional walking. Staff was constantly sanitizing the rails and other touchable features. The shark conveyor belt had surfboard stickers to stand on marked for social distancing.
The diaspora of aquatic wildlife you can see at Ripley's Aquarium is incredible. Not only is it gorgeous to see and great to take pictures with, but you can also learn a lot about the wildlife that inhabit our waters. The shark conveyor belt is by far the best feature of the aquarium. Ripley's Aquarium is for everyone, families, couples, kids, or even someone alone.
We highly recommend visiting Ripley's Aquarium when in Toronto. We would recommend about 3 hours to thoroughly enjoy the aquarium. We personally purchased a Toronto CityPass and enjoyed this along with other Toronto must sees. We made a whole day of CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium.

"A MUST VISIT WHEN IN TORONTO"
Aug. 2020
Whether you live in the GTHA or are visiting Ripley's Aquarium is a must stop. Alone, as a couple, a family or group it is an awesome experience. Lots to look at and easy to engage and read the information on the species and different areas that make our lakes, rivers and oceans so amazing.
Easy to walk through. Lots for kids and adults to enjoy.
Easy walking.
Great gift shop with very reasonable prices for everyone. There are gifts for every age group.
Definitely a wonderful visit with close access to Union Station, Rogers Centre, Convention Centre, CN Tower, Scotiabank Arena. One block south of Front Street.

pre-covid visit
Apr. 2020
We went to the aquarium just before Covid closed everything down and therefore the walkways were not crowded. It was a Friday evening so there was a jazz band playing which made it a special evening. The aquarium itself is well worth a visit - great displays and even a tunnel you walk through where the fish, including sharks and rays swim over and around you. Must see for everyone

Fascinating place to visit
Jan. 2020
A very interesting place to see. Located right next to iconic CN Tower, this aquarium is safe and beautiful home for 100+ aquatic species. I've been coming to Toronto few years and have always had the intention of coming here but never got the opportunity. This is a great place for tourists and children. The glass tunnel gives a very nice experience. The under water creatures are incredibly beautiful. So many different colours, and you actually learn so much coming here. Lots of multimedia attractions. I recommend this place in Toronto.

Amazing Experience!
Feb. 2020 • Business
State of the art facility with so much to see. Great for families or even dates. There are interactive sections which are great photo ops or just fun experiences. Gift shop is a little pricey, but which one isn't? I've visited several times and plan on going again when the opportunity arises.

We only have time for ONE activity - it is between this (Ripley's Aquarium) and Toronto Island Park. Traveling with our 13 and 17 year olds. First time to TO. Which should we choose? Oh, coming in October so still during COVID restrictions. Help me choose???

I would say Ripley’s Aquarium as it would work better for those ages , island park may bore them..

Coupon/discounts out there for an October trip? Best I've found is AttractionsOntario - 10% off printable coupon. Anyone know what the Entertainment Book coupon is? I can see it listed but don't know what offer it is!

is the skywalk and remaining pathway to the aquarium fully wheelchair-accessible

Yes, and there are elevators as well. The only time we found it difficult was as you go through the place you are actually going down on a slight angle to the bottom. It is not sharp, but I did find it difficult in a few places to hold my wheelchair and keep it from going down the ramps to fast. Also getting back up ramps on the other side was hard on my husband and me.

Is the aquarium directly connected to the enclosed skywalk so that you can stay inside from the union station transportation center to the aquarium

We are driving 5 hours to get to Ripleys and going for the first time. Not familiar with the area and wondered if anyone can tell us if there is on site parking or parking close by?

Yes,there is plenty of parking nearby. It's approximately $25.00 a day. If you are willing to walk a little you can find under ground parking on Front st and Spadina for $10.00.
