The set design and the costumes were eye-popping beautiful. The ballet is a series of well-choreographed ensemble dances. There were many festive special effects that worked, such as a dancing bear on roller skates and an amazing horse on stage (was it real or costume?)....More

Went to an evening performance - so glad I could get tickets! Much appreciated the Ballet Talk by Peter Ottmann, the Senior Ballet Master, at 6:45 - well worth attending. He explained the ballet as ‘representation’ of a particular moment in Nijinsky’s life: his last...More

I was looking forward to seeing this ballet and though visually gorgeous and with some very effective music, the choreography was a real let down.It felt very "50's TV" dancing. Insubstantial with lots of mediocre leaping about and running around that we've all seen a...More

Went to see the Nutcracker, a beautiful performance, the orchestra was magnificent, I enjoyed the entire performance. A great evening, a must-do activity in Toronto, no matter which ballet you see.

Several of us went to see their performance of the Nutcracker. It was absolutely magical, and our seats were quite comfortable. The only downside is the cost.. it can be quite prohibitive.

Hopefully you don't suffer from vertigo, as anyone who does would not be able to tolerate the height of Ring 5. Otherwise you will have a clear view from anywhere you sit except that it will be from a great height.
