My daughter and 7-14 year old girls has a blast. Staff was engaging and terrific and set the stage for fun. The only suggestion the girls had was that they thought since it 'was a 'murder' scenario the room could have had a scarier atmosphere....' but not sure all of the guests would have agreed. Several of the girls had been to other escape games and felt this one ranked up with the best.

Overall a terrific experience.....I would love to try it with friends myself.

It's good game for its price, but not the best one.
We have a good time and of course I recommend this place if you're living nearby.

We booked the room for a total of 12 people and had such an amazing time. The puzzles were varied and the teams started in two different rooms and had to really work and communicate well together.

The hosts were awesome and very engaging. The pre and post game interaction was the most thorough I've encountered in all of my escaping.

I hear they have a great clue system that is very true to the scenario, but we didn't get to experience it. We used no clues... apparently the first of almost 200 teams to successfully escape without any!

There were no lockboxes offered to us to store our things.

I've been to at least four other escape locations and have down about 20 rooms alogether, and this was a stand out experience. Would highly recommend.

I've played many escape games before, in Europe and a handful here as well and got hooked. Lockquest was the escape game I enjoyed the least by far, unfortunately. The concept and puzzles were well done, I like how it was theme related, but playing with strangers made my group and myself very uncomfortable. It was very awkward for my team and I, it made our trip a poor experience, especially after playing at so many wonderful escape games.

Fun puzzles, but poor experience.

Hi, Jude! I'm sorry to hear that while you enjoyed the game, playing with a blended team had such an impact on your experience. For any booking, players can request that we block off the remaining unsold seats if they're uncomfortable meeting new people at LockQuest. I apologize if that wasn't clear. Please allow me to follow up with you privately so that we can address your concern. - Ryan

I had an absolute blast. I went with a group of 7 friends, most of whom have never done an escape room. The hosts were fun, friendly and welcoming. They went through the rules and explained the basics of how everything will work before we started and gave a nice debriefing at the end.

Once we were in the rooms, it was an absolutely exhilarating hour of solving puzzles, finding things in odd places and putting known facts together. The puzzles were great. Some were really easy, some were challenging. All were logical and doable, nothing super obscure or anything that would require external knowledge. You really just need your brain and some decent observation skills.

It is definitely a group activity. There are so many things to do, you need multiple people working simultaneously on different things. Communication is key, we all needed each other's brains to succeed and frequently solved puzzles together. I will never forget the feeling of pure triumph when we opened the door with only a few minutes to spare.

I will be keeping an eye out for their next adventure!

What a fantastic experience!

I brought my wife and her friends to LockQuest as a birthday surprise (yes I still give my wife birthday surprises, even in our 40s). This was our second escape room that day and I have to say that we were very impressed and enjoyed ourselves more at LockQuest than at Escape Games. From the time we walked in the door, to when we left, the gang at LockQuest were pleasant, engaging and entertaining. It was obvious they took pride in providing their clients with an exciting experience.

The game itself was well executed and the puzzles were occasionally complex but not so obscure that they would have been impossible to solve. The design of the room and props used were all very realistic with a good mix of high tech and old school book smarts needed. Nothing scary or dismal, dirty and dark about this room. It was clean, bright and actually felt like we were locked in some stranger's apartment.

I'm so tempted to go back even though I know all the secrets. You should go instead!

Our family of 10, ranging in age from early 20s to 70s, all had a blast working as a team, trying to figure out the clues and puzzles to help us get out! It was the first in an escape room for all of us and I'm thrilled that LockQuest was such a great experience for everyone! We found it to be both challenging and thrilling. Looking forward to trying LockQuest's next escape room theme.

I loved this, I was in a group of people who had never done a room escape game, there were 11 of us (the game is for 12 max) and I only knew a few people personally, and my brother who I brought knew only two people personally, but within 10 minutes we were both interacting with everyone (and we are both very, very shy). We both had so much fun we couldn't believe it, we had to start looking up room escape games in San francisco (where we live) The puzzles are the perfect amount of difficult and impossible if you don't work with each other. It seemed like every one was instrumental in at least one puzzle, so we all felt like we contributed a lot. Really, it was the most fun group activity I have ever done and If I ever had to do a work outing or anything, this would be the place. After the game I felt a million times more comfortable talking to the people in the group. I really loved that the company didn't seem like they though they were better than you, it didn't feel like a "only 2% of people can solve this good luck" basically they weren't running a company simply to show off their puzzle making skills to feel superior. Which is the vibe I get from a lot of the other room escape websites. In short, if your thinking about doing this, you totally should.

It was my first time visiting Lockquest. Great experience! I went with a group of girlfriends and we had a blast. The story is very well done, not easy to escape ( at least for us). You have to work as a group on the clues and having 12 girls screaming at the same time can make it a bit difficult.
