If you enjoy the corporate lobby of a bank then getting to the restaurant is for you. If not, perhaps this isn’t the most salubrious entrance.

The concierge desk is awkwardly positioned and it seemed to take a while to get seated.

The view is ok but it’s not CN Tower level.

Service was over confident to the point of being “in your face” and not the most accommodating it could have been. Eg could a pasta dish which was a appetiser be made into a main dish ? No because there wasn’t enough for other tables !

And the food ? Well, the seafood platter is ok. It’s not a patch on what you can get elsewhere in the city though.

Mains seemed overly complex. Turbot seemed lost in a mess of other flavours.

The risoni was over cooked to the point of having lost all bite.

Overall we were pretty underwhelmed.

Was invited for a special birthday dinner. Type of restaurant which is memorable not only for the food, which is excellent , but for the view from it’s location on the 54 th floor. Only drawback is that it naturally attracts a lot of tourists and gawkers . So it is not an intimate dining experience but the unique atmosphere is what it is all about .

We booked at the last minute but none the less we had a brilliant table with an amazing view. Our waiter was very pleasant and the food excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant lunch on a clear day.

On the top floor (50th?) of the TD building you have a magnificent view over They know what hospitality and punctuality is. We had to wait half an hour for our (reserved) table was available and guided to the bar. When picked up we were pleasantly surprised that the drinks were on the house. A good start. And what came next was perfectly prepared food. Surprising originality. Innovative taste pallets.
Prices were reasonable.

A standard in Toronto that sits high a top a skyscraper offers a beautiful setting for dinner.
Our concerns related to a reservation made weeks before for a window table only to be given a table in the centre of the restaurant. Once moved the view was great. We enjoyed the service but found some of the dishes lacking. In particular was rather tough and fatty wild boar chops. This was disappointing given the prices which can be rather high for the quantity. The mushroom soup could have used some pizazz and radish salad was just so so.
Best said just enjoy the view. We've heard it can be a hit or miss.

Great central location with an amazing view - make sure you ask for a table by the window. Need to get there early without a reservation and if you want to be able to sit down.

Alex organizes a wonderful tour around Toronto Island while you take in the stunning views of the city and lagoons. I bring my ESL group here every month in the summer and every time they leave with big smiles!!

Canoe Toronto provides excellent instruction and fun canoe trips from the Toronto Harbour to the Toronto Islands. We have used their services for over ten years and every year Canoe Toronto just gets better. Alex and his team are professional, and run very smooth programs that I am pleased to offer to my student campers.

We visited Toronto Islands in a canoe as part of our school activity in Toronto. It was a great canoe trip and easy paddle across the harbour and islands' lagoons. We had a campfire on the islands, afterwords, and tried delicious marshmallow on a stick.
