A great place to get out and enjoy a walk
Feb. 2021
There is something to do for all age groups. We went for a hike today with the grandchildren on the boardwalk which is wide enough to maintain the proper spacing.

It was -11 C, overcast with gusting winds – a “double B-R-R-R-R” day where we went walking on Discovery walk.

While it was far from busy, it was one of the busiest days we’ve gone hiking to date. Obviously, it wasn’t cold for the kids as they couldn’t wait to get on the play structures. It was good to get out and enjoy the fresh air, but it was so nice to be out of the wind at home. LOL

Beautiful place, the Beach area is super with the Lake lapping at the edges, we walked the Beach and then into the park area edging the Lake. Got some beautiful photos in the Winter Sunshine. Lots of wildlife to watch. Easy walking. Spent an amazing day in the area..

Snowy wonderland

It was a wonderful experience walking around the snow covered park and beach. The weather was sunny but windy and cold and there aren't that many people in the park. Although you will find many walking their dogs.

It was peaceful to sit on one of the benches facing the beach and relax. It really is quite peaceful experience. Recommended activity if you are keen to walking about.

Something for everyone
Sep. 2019
We wanted a place to relax a little after spending a lot of the day in the city. Someone recommended Woodbine so we gave it a try. It was much larger than I expected and had a very nice vast beach area with places to play volleyball, a boardwalk to walk on, huge beach area and a really nice wooded area to walk through. There is even a Tim Hortons next to the parking lot in case you get hungry. We had a very enjoyable time just relaxing and strolling through the park and watching the scenery change as we went.

a great amble on the boardwalk!
Aug. 2019 • Friends
we walked from the hydro station to three quarters down the boardwalk! it was wonderful! about 13000 steps! walked by lovely homes flanking one side, and the beach, water extending out to eternity on the other! much to look at along the way, many benches to rest on, contemplate the scenery or life, eating and washroom spots along the way ... makes for a grand stroll. the weather was perfect, cool and sunny! a wonderful way to spend the morning, afternoon or evening!

Quiet During The Week But Very Busy On The Weekends
Jun. 2019 • Business
In my personal opinion, my above stated title states it all here. The Woodbine Beach swimming pool is next to this popular park in the south part of "The Beaches". There is lot's of room to explore this vast park land, walk on the boardwalk, relaxing on the beach during the good weather or going to the Tim Horton's for a coffee. Lot's of parking during the wek but weekends it is terrible. Even the local television station come down here to do news treports!

Beautiful but boy was it cold
Feb. 2019 • Family
We knew Toronto was going to be cold in winter and had dressed accordingly. But boy does it blow from Lake Ontario across the beach when it wants to! We had a lovely walk - though in winter I'd recommend wearing extra grippers on your boots - but had to cut it short as despite all the layers it was just too cold to continue. It certainly cleared our heads!

Lots of activities. lots of pebbles near the water line
Aug. 2018 • Couples
There is a boardwalk in the park between lawn and beach area. There is a bicycle rad along the boardwalk extending to east and west and connecting other other parks and water front. There is huge beach sandy area with many beach volley ball courts. There is a woodbine park north of the lakeshore blvd. This park has festivals very often, e.g. Jazz festivals.
However there are lots of pebbles near the water, so it's difficult to walk along the water and going swimming.
