    The Woodbine Beach
Amazing place to walk to the beach in the morning to watch sunrise or moonrise, and if you enjoy taking great photos, this place has incredible scenery at all times of the day, and offers the ability to get great shots of the sunrise or moonrise. A place you can fully relax and forget the stresses of the world! Woodbine Beach is the largest of the four beaches in the Beaches in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located along Lake Shore Boulevard at the foot of Woodbine Avenue, it is next to Ashbridge's Bay and Kew-Balmy Beach. It’s a very nice vast beach area with places to play volleyball, a boardwalk to walk on, a beach area and a really nice wooded area to walk through, a very enjoyable time just relaxing and strolling through the park and watching the scenery. There is a bicycle rad along the boardwalk extending to the east and west and connecting other parks and water front. A huge beach sandy area with many beach volley ball courts. Parking available - Free parking during the week before 5PM. Nice sand, grass areas, change house, renovated bathing station features upgraded ventilation and lighting, a new roof, an enlarged patio, change rooms, accessible washrooms, water bottle filling stations and a beach shower with a foot wash, and Tim Horton's on sight as well as other food places. The beach itself is fine, with lifeguards on duty during the summer. Beautiful views of the lake.

Beautiful place, the Beach area is super with the Lake lapping at the edges, we walked the Beach and then into the park area edging the Lake. Got some beautiful photos in the Winter Sunshine. Lots of wildlife to watch. Easy walking. Spent an amazing day in the area..

It was a wonderful experience walking around the snow covered park and beach. The weather was sunny but windy and cold and there aren't that many people in the park. Although you will find many walking their dogs. It was peaceful to sit on one of the benches facing the beach and relax. It really is quite peaceful experience. Recommended activity if you are keen to walking about.

It's supposed to be one of the nicest beaches, so we went to check it out. It was a lovely beach, soft sand, toilets.. the only thing is that everything is cash only! What a shame. We're tourists, and have been to over 120 countries, we avoid carrying cash. TBH, not sure I know anyone who carries cash these days, but perhaps this is something in Toronto. Kids wanted ice cream and a few treats, but couldn't help local tourism..

Found this gem on the edge of the downtown hosting a truck food and music festival. What a beautiful park, from the lake to the beach so beautifully set out. Despite being busy there seemed to be room for everyone

Went with a friend to Woodbine Beach and had a lovely day excepting the beach and water where we were was a little on the rocky side, it was quite crowded plus the water had a bit of a smelll of polution. But it was a hot day so well worth the minor inconveniences.

There is something to do for all age groups. We went for a hike today with the grandchildren on the boardwalk which is wide enough to maintain the proper spacing.

It was -11 C, overcast with gusting winds – a “double B-R-R-R-R” day where we went walking on Discovery walk.

While it was far from busy, it was one of the busiest days we’ve gone hiking to date. Obviously, it wasn’t cold for the kids as they couldn’t wait to get on the play structures. It was good to get out and enjoy the fresh air, but it was so nice to be out of the wind at home. LOL

We wanted a place to relax a little after spending a lot of the day in the city. Someone recommended Woodbine so we gave it a try. It was much larger than I expected and had a very nice vast beach area with places to play volleyball, a boardwalk to walk on, huge beach area and a really nice wooded area to walk through. There is even a Tim Hortons next to the parking lot in case you get hungry. We had a very enjoyable time just relaxing and strolling through the park and watching the scenery change as we went.

we walked from the hydro station to three quarters down the boardwalk! it was wonderful! about 13000 steps! walked by lovely homes flanking one side, and the beach, water extending out to eternity on the other! much to look at along the way, many benches to rest on, contemplate the scenery or life, eating and washroom spots along the way ... makes for a grand stroll. the weather was perfect, cool and sunny! a wonderful way to spend the morning, afternoon or evening!
