I truly enjoy going back to the Walkerville neighbourhood to go for a walk or a ride on my bike. I went to the Walkerville Highschool as a teenager and will never forget how beautiful that area is. When I walk through that neighbourhood, I am still in awe of some of those grand houses. The architecture and detail is... More

Great restaurants and pubs, especially Vito's and The Kildare. A great area to walk around, enjoy the old houses and then relax over a pint before having a nice dinner. Check out F&B as well for great cocktails and small plates.

What is there not to love about this neighbourhood? The history, the architecture, the places to eat and shop, the location by the water.

This area is very cool. A great revival for this historic neighborhood. Lots of cool shops, great places to eat and places to just hang out. Definitely check out the festivals that go on here when the weather is warm, really neat place to see.

He built a community that included terrace homes for his managers and workers. Take a walk down Monmouth and see the century homes that he built for workers using a reowned Detroit architect. Also Willistead Park surrounds his home Willistead... More
