    Excellent Park
This is a beautiful Canadian National Park. We spend a lot of time in National Parks of the US and this ranks right up there with some of the best. This is a lovely place to visit and well worth your time. PEI is a special place. My only regret is not spending more time here.

Great park, especially the Anne of Green Gables site!
I reviewed the Anne of Green Gables site, Avonlea, elsewhere, but I do wish to say it is a must see and very impressive. We also visited the Oceanview site in the park, and it contained nice views and hiking trails. Very nice!

    Great Beaches
Entered at Brackley Beach and drove towards Covehead Harbour. For such a great, almost wild place there are nowhere near enough parking places along the road. Then when you get to the car park at Covehead Harbour, you have to pay another $2 to a really grumpy woman on top of the $16.75 entrance fee. Lovely beaches though.

This park was my favorite attraction in Prince Edward Island.
North Rustico Beach and Cabendish Beach had the classic red cliffs and red sand. The Green Gables House was not open for tours, but I was able to hike around its grounds. The beaches were very cold in November, but I bundled up. I was able to take a scenic drive along the Atlantic Ocean. Everything was free when I went to this park.

We had our Canada Parks Pass so made a quick stop at Greenwich Beach. The boardwalk was nice to walk to the water. There are bathrooms there. Nice place and well kept.

With a drizzle, we headed to PEI National Park's lookout. With a water temperature of 16°C, it would take some courage to swim in the sea.
On September 23, 2022, Fiona’s ferocious forces left an unprecedented wake of destruction across the province. There is a significant erosion of the park’s shoreline, including sand dunes due to the storm.

One of the neat things that their park has is a floating boardwalk that takes you through a marsh so that you can see all of the wildlife and plant life around you without destroying it. Make sure to bring bug spray.
You can walk up to the top of the Dune on the designated path and then down onto the beach to take some lovely pictures. It was empty with the day that we went there.

Some of the best beaches in the world on Prince Edward Island, The island basically has a beach around the whole Island. Just drive towards ocean on any road there will be a hidden beach. The National park is great although busy so get there early for a good spot.

The Prince Edward Island National Park visit was nice, we drove through the park - it had a few nice stops for viewing area - there were great places to take photos of red cliffs and very nice picturesque spots and nice place for walking and enjoying the day/afternoon.

Its a great drive and has a lot of options of restaurants and shopping stops 5mins drive from the main road.

You HAVE to include a trip to Greenwich Sand Dunes on your list. This place was absolutely beautiful!
We went in off season so there was no charge and nobody around. It felt like had the place to ourselves.
The trails to the dunes are mostly flat and include some wooded area and a floating boardwalk. It was a very windy day but the boardwalk was no issue.
The sand dunes and beach was peaceful. The sound of the powerful wind and waves were like something we've never heard before.
You won't regret visiting here.
