We had the most amazing dinner and time with Jim at the lobster boil at the shore! Jim is full of knowledge, he explains all the hard work and time that goes into getting us those delicious mussels and lobsters. He said he was certain we were about to have the best mussels around, and he wasn’t wrong! It was truly the highlight of our trip to your beautiful island. We will most definitely do this again!

We attended the ‘Mussel & Lobster Boil’ event. Excellent PEI mussels & tasty lobster with oysters to start! great hospitality & our host, Jim Conohan delightfully imparts his knowledge about PEI’s incredible mussel industry and his life as a lobster fisherman.

Sensational Sandcastles with Maurice was a great experience for both the adults and the kids (ages 4 and 5). We all learned the essentials to building some serious sand castles and had a great time getting our hands dirty. I'd strongly recommend if you haven't done something like this before.

Would highly recommend the potato tour or what is named as the tater, tractors and tales tour over the potato museum (love the use of alliteration in the tour name btw), especially if agricultural tours are your thing . We had the pleasure of learning about the potato farming process and equipment from different eras, which Peter and his father had amazingly collected over the years and restored themselves. You might think that for 75$ it is an expensive tour, but the tour was engaging, interactive and most especially comprehensive. We lucked out having a private tour (unintentionally) with Peter and Brett who were so incredibly welcoming, honest, friendly, and most knowledgeable about the best eats in town and more importantly potato farming. They not only shared many interesting tidbits regarding potato farming both past and present, but they also had a ton of other interesting equipment like marine engines (which we were allowed to get going ourselves) and wood splitters. We unfortunately did not take any pictures as we are not generally picture type of people, but to whoever is reading this review, that just means you will have to go see it for yourself. The only thing that was missing was being able to eat some potatoes at some point during the tour! That would take this already A+ tour to A++ Thank you Brett and Peter!

We did a sandcastle building session with Maurice, and he was just awesome. I had three kids with me aged 8, 11, and 16 and all had a wonderful time. Maurice is skilled, patient, easygoing, and a wellspring of knowledge and talent. This is a super-unique experience, and one that we won’t soon forget. Looking forward to a redo on our next trip to the island! Thank you, Maurice!1
