Hello! I'm very sorry your experience wasn't better. I imagine you must of visited us during peak hour. We have a cut off number on the structure for safety and the lifeguards are always present to insure everyone's security.
If you do decide to come back we recommend coming early in the morning so that the structure is less crowded.
Have a great day!

Spent that afternoon at Aquazilla in John Drapeau Parc. Had a lot of fun, got some exercise and enjoyed the sunshine.
The Parc itself is lovely with beach, grass, shade, picnic tables and chairs. The water is relatively clear even though this is a smallish madmade area. Be prepared to pay an admission price.
We had a great time at Aquazilla although we were a bit disappointed as the website made it appear larger. As well, although beyond their control, there were weeds growing in many places which freaked my young kids out a little.
However, the staff were very good, helpful and attentive and I appreciated that all guests were required to wear life jackets which made being there with kids a little easier.
The price was a bit high however the experience unique and enjoyable.

My husband and two boys (ages 5 and 9) visited Montreal in July of 2018. We loved the city and its parks. It was hot and humid in July so Aquazilla was a great activity during our visit. My boys both loved it! However, it is quite challenging to get on and off the structure. Both my kids managed, but needed help getting back onto the structure when they fell off. Good exercise and very much a workout! It was pretty fun overall, but best for older kids.

Visited with our kids, aged 10 and 11, August 2018. Not crowded at all (Quebec students were back in school). They love it (as do I). Our second time visiting. Lots of obstacles. Only did one hour, and they wanted more. Beach area is nice as well.

We visited Aquazilla on a very hot day and it was a perfect way for the kids to spend their energy in the heat. We spent 4-5 hours on the structure and the kids didn't want to leave.
Aquazilla has various modules, some for a wider audience, others for those whole like a little thrill. Good upper body strength is required to pull yourself up on the modules, climb or use the bars and trapeze. This makes it a full body workout combined to fun family time!
I hope we can go back soon!

We ended our last night of vacation with a swim here. The kids enjoyed it very much and was located in a very neat location. Right in the middle of the formula one track! The biggest down fall of this place was, you had to pay for parking. You have to pay to get into the beach and you have to pay to do the aquazilla. So it was quite expensive. It was nice to just be able to sit and relax on our last day though.

This is an amazing idea, but it's not the easiest thing to do. The older kids (7 and 9) were having a blast, but the youngest (5) was a bit shocked and couldn't do most of the things. Also, it's really hard to get back on through the sides once you fall off (and you always fall off) and only the front side has handles to help you up, and when you can't get yourself up the lifeguards don't really help you if you're an adult (they do help the kids though). It was exhausting for me, but the kids had a great time so it was worth it. Note that you have to pay to get it, in addition to paying to enter the beach itself (which is on Notre Dame island - you have to take the free bus right in front of the metro station on the Saint Helena island).

We visited Aquazilla this past Saturday on a hot day. Our 8 year old really enjoyed slides, trampoline, trapeze etc. on the inflatable structure. Our 6 year old was a bit overwhelmed by how crowded it was and had difficulty navigating through the structure.
While the children seems to enjoy running and jumping around on the structure, it is not as easy for the adults and, once you fall off, it is difficult to get back on -- as an adult you definitely have to be physically fit to get around.
Getting back on the structure was difficult for both the adults (who need strong upper body strength to pull themselves up) and the children ... my husband had to help pull a number of children back on the structure after they fell off. Although the rules seem to suggest that children required adult supervision, there were definitely a number of children on the structure who did not appear to have any adults with them.
There were two lifeguards on duty and I think a third one is required. There is no lifeguard viewing / controlling where people jump off / slide down the highest point on the structure. The kids were all excited and jumping two at a time or not looking to make sure the area was clear before jumping off. We saw 2 brothers knock heads when they jumped off and many near misses.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for your review. After reading your review, I imagine you visited the park on a very busy day. I am sorry you felt as if the park was too crowded. If you decide to come back , I recommend visiting earlier\ later during the day when the park is usually quieter. Indeed, the activity does require some upper-body strength. People often think Aquazilla is a giant bouncy-castle, we are not ;)
Our staff always make sure children aged under 9 are accompanied by an adult, we are very strict with this rule. In terms of lifeguards, the lifeguard\ swimmer ratio is suggested by the Quebec Lifesaving society. Because all users must wear life jackets, they confirm 2 active lifeguards is sufficient for 80 users. Again, thanks for your review and looking forward seeing you again at Aquazilla!

We visited Auquazilla on a hot day. The water was very refreshing. the inflatable structure had a variety of thing such as jumping in the water, slides, monkey bars over water, balancing, etc. It is decently priced and lots of fun.
The only downfall is that there were too many kids on the structure. Most of them get in your way, shove and push. When I visited, many kids were very obnoxious.
Overall, it was very fun.

Hello and thank you for your review. As I can imagine, you visited Aquazilla on a very busy day. I am sorry your first experience included obnoxious kids; we sometimes get groups of kids who are very excited and who challenge themselves physically. I always ask my lifeguards to make sure to keep an eye out for these kids since I want everyone to have a pleasant experience and strive to keep the park safe for users of all ages.
I will pass on your comments to the head lifeguard to make sure this doesn't happen again. I look forward seeing you at Aquazilla again this summer!

Hi Vanessa,
Aquazilla mostly offers exchanges, but they do offer refunds as well.
Is the water around the structure shallow enough for an adult to stand? Thank you

How much did this cost per person and how much was he parking for the beach? Thank you!

For cost, you need to consider:
- Beach access;
- Aquazilla cost;
-Parking in Jean-Dore parc;
I suggest you look at their website for up to date cost. Parking can be avoided if you use public transit (metro + bus).
You can find 2 for 1 coupons for the beach on the web.
Our visit cost was 18$ parking + +/- 20$ for beach access and 95$ for Aquazilla (unlimited access for 4)
