Definitely worth visiting for the views of the city. I came here with a friend on a terribly cold but beautiful day, and the Chalet also offered a perfect respite from the chilly wind. They have some historical exhibits that are interesting, and the building itself is beautiful on the inside, but it's really all about the view here.…

My husband and I travelled overseas late last year with a three day stopover in Montreal. Its a nice place to visit, a lot to see and do. We walked thru Parc de Mont Royal up to the Chalet, amazing view at the top and inside there is a cafe that serves hot and cold drinks and a bite to eat, the interior hall in lovely and the artwork on the walls just adds to it. It would be an amazing setting for a wedding.…

Was a good stop for washroom and snacks during the hike around the mountain. Went at a time where it was too late for Fall activities, but too early for winter activities.

The building itself is for most of visitors largely eclipsed by great view from the plateau. But once you are there, you will probably have a peek inside anyway. It will still most likely take backseat to the panorama of the city, but if you wish to linger longer up there, have a rest, take a seat, the Chalet is your place.…
