    Barbie Expo
Wasn't sure what to expect. It was a free exhibit and the day we went it was pouring rain outside so it was a nice distraction from that. It was interesting to see all the barbies specially made for certain celebrities. You won't kill a lot of time here but it was free and a nice distraction.

Best Thing to Do in Montreal!
My mother and I had looked forward to visiting the Barbie museum in Montreal for months leading up to our trip. We were scared a few weeks before as it said temporarily closed, but did not stress as this seems to happen often and for short periods of time. The expo is free and inside a shopping center, which can be a bit tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area. Admission is free. We were amazed at all the Barbie’s. Each section was themed such as cultural, wedding, celebrity, fashion, and so on. Some people could get through the expo in 15 minutes, but we probably spent an hour here admiring the beautiful dolls. Great for all ages.

Only 25% of the collection was available for viewing. I wish their website would update the public as to when the remainder of the collection will be viewable.

If your in the area its worth going to take a look, but if your interested in Barbie then its a must see. It was interesting to see all the different types, surprising how many different ones they made. You can get a photo inside a human size Barbie display box.

Allow 15 to 30 minutes to enjoy this experience. It’s free to visit and fills a shop sized room. The barbie’s are pretty cool.

This experience gets two stars only because it was free (I appreciate free activities!). Right away, I noticed that there is zero information given about each of the dolls (minus their name). It would be so easy to add a bit of information about each designer and/or each doll! For many, I did not know why they were special or who I was meant to be looking at. I also did not understand why some countries / cultures had multiple dolls (I think Russia had five??), while others had one (or none!). A vast majority of the dolls - and I mean like 98% of them - are also white. This lack of diversity does not seem fitting for the Barbie brand.

Seeing all of the barbies on display is very impressive and kept us entertained for about 15 minutes. Judging by the photos we expected a much larger expo. They must have reduced the size as the space was much smaller than photos in other reviews. Unfortunately, I did not get a photo of the room to compare. I'd say if you're in the area and have a few minutes to fill it's worth it, but might not be worth going out of your way to see.

Dont waste your time. Its just a small stall with Barbie display in national costume and other designers brand. You can finish looking at it for 3 mins. Thats it.

Btw,The bldg is under renovation. So many areas are covered and escalators are not working and blocked too.
