    Fun family activity
Pretty fun to see the sights. It was very quiet and not allot of people so we got to go around 4 times which was fun for the kids and we got our moneys worth. $150 for a family of 6 for about 25 minutes We did the one in Niagara Falls and it was exciting

    Loved It, Despite the Price
It was a bit pricey, but.... I'm very glad we did it. It took 4 revolutions and lasted a little over 20 minutes. Was not busy the day we went. Seating and air temp control were comfortable. The views were spectacular (We went close to sunset time.). Great opportunity to relax for a little while and enjoy some family time.

    What a Ride!
Splurged and rented the VIP carriage and really enjoyed it. It has a glass floor which was a wonderful view. We went right about sunset, but the clouds blocked most of the sunset. Doing the vip you get a little extra time. The views of the city and river were beautiful.

So much fun, I went twice!
The views are amazing, the duration of the ride (about 20 minutes) is just right, and the cars are air-conditioned. I had such a good time, I went on twice! I attended during a very busy time and the line moved quickly. Didn't wait more than 5 minutes to buy my tickets and to ride the wheel.

    A “one-and-done” kind of deal
La Grande Roue is simply put an observation wheel in Montreal. Not much more to say about that. It’s something you should do when in the area, absolutely. The views are great and you get at least three trips up and down on the wheel. The rooms inside are also air conditioned which is great, especially on hot summer days. However, I’m not sure if it’s worth the money or time. You could easily spend this money looking around the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts or nearby Old Montreal, but definitely don’t take this off your to-do list when in Montreal. Experience it once, but leave it at that. Simply put, I do recommend this attraction but only if you’ve never been on it before.

    Touristy but worth it
Great way to see the river and the city. There were no lines when we visited, and we appreciated having a climate controlled cab for the ride. The only thing I’d appreciate is having a map or video screen that identifies for visitors what they are looking at.

Pleasant way to spend 20 minutes & get a bird's eye view of Montreal
Fortunate to have had a stunning weather day. Sunny and blue skies. My sister and I went mid-week so, there was little time spent waiting in the queue. We also didn't have to share our gondola meaning we were able to move around to see the views from different vantage points.

Try and Plan for Sunset Pics of Montreal
We visited Montreal in early September and it was extremely warm weather so decided a ride on La Grande Roue de Montreal might cool us down. We happened to get on quite quickly with hardly any wait in the queue and were up there for sunset, so managed to get some really pretty pictures of Montreal with the sun going down. It is well worth a visit, especially if you get as lucky as we did.

    Canada’s tallest observation wheel
It was built in order to celebrate the 375th anniversary of Montreal. Canada’s tallest observation wheel, situated right off the St. Lawrence River. Nearby you can see the Clock Tower and there are quite a few nice restaurants.

The views were amazing from up there, with the fall foliage around the area and the river. It wasn't crowded when we got there. It took about 45 minutes or 3 circles per ride.

The Ferris Wheel area offers great views of Montreal. While it is pricey, the views make it worth it. The area nearby is also nice to sit and enjoy a picnic.

resonable down hill walk from Champ de Mar Metro station on orange line. also close to old montreal. $60 CAD for two - three revolutions. Beautiful view of river areas and old montreal. lots of souvenier shops and restaurants nearby. Notre Dame about a half mile walk from there....3 of the blocks were up hill and close to Place-de-Armes Metro station - orange line.

While it was a nice ride with a lovely view and we enjoyed it, we felt it was more expensive than it should be.

This Ferris Wheel is tall. It is in a park that seems to be reclaimed land from the river. It reminded me of the Eye in London or the new one is Vegas. It’s nice.

Great for people who have never been to Montreal before. There were 3 of us, and we arrived around 11am on a Saturday. We got a cabin to ourselves. I noticed that it did get very busy later in the day. It was a very hot day so it was nice that it was air conditioned.
