Marie led my family (2 adults and 2 teens) on a wonderful walking tour of Old Montreal. Marie very thoughtfully inquired about the interests of each member of the family in advance of the tour so that she could discuss items of interest for every member, be it food, historical sights, etc. We were able to cover a lot of territory and information in a short period of time, and she left us with some wonderful restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended!

Marie was a pleasure to work with prior to our tour (easy booking and timely email responses) and was very accommodating with our start location! We all enjoyed our private tour of Old Montreal and enjoyed listening to historical facts and stories. During our tour we visited several points of interest and unique places that only a knowledgeable local guide would know about. Our family included 2 teenagers and a 21 year old.

We had a vacation with six friends in September. None of us had ever been to Montreal before. Marie was absolutely wonderful. She showed things of interest that took all our personalities in account. She was very good at setting the tour up for us with quick responses to our e mails.

Our group of four recently enjoyed a wonderful 3.5-hour personal walking tour of Montreal with Marie. As two in our group had not been to Montreal, we selected Marie’s tour specifically because it offered “A Bit of Everything” not just concentrating on one area of this fabulous city. Marie’s tour started atop Mont-Royal, continued down through the McGill University campus, into the downtown and ending in the eclectic and touristy Vieux-Montreal. We also opted for a most interesting and informative tour by Marie inside Notre-Dame Basilica. The time on the entire tour seemed to pass all too quickly. Marie was thoroughly engaging with us, inserting humour and personal experience into her commentary; she is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her adopted hometown. She answered our questions and was keen to know what we were interested in seeing and doing while on tour and during our stay in Montreal providing suggestions about restaurants, places to visit and things to see and do. Everything from our pre-booking correspondence to end of tour was first rate. We would highly recommend this tour with Marie for anyone interested in a highly engaging, very interesting and informative walking tour of several diverse areas of Montreal.

My hubby and I took Marie’s private tour of Old Montreal in September 2019. She was very good about responding to email in the “setting up the tour” process. She gave us a good idea of what to expect on the tour and delivered what she promised - an informative, entertaining, story-filled 2.5 hours that was absolutely memorable. Marie has a great personality. We will remember our time with her fondly. You will not regret taking one of her tours. You will learn things you probably wouldn’t have picked up on your own. She is worth every penny!
