I would NOT recommend this tour or do it again. Reasonably priced but feels like just a drive around the city. There’s no signage at the stops so good luck making sure you’re at a stop.
Tours start at 10:00, but the bus didn’t show up to stop # 1 until 10:20 and it was full. We were in one of the historic buses which is cool, but very jerky and loud. Difficult to hear the narrator, plus he was doing the tour in both English and French, which made it very choppy to follow, and you got half the amount of a full tour information.
We did transfer to a newer coach for part of the tour and the experience was better, only English, nicer seats, not full, and you could hear the narrator better.
Compared to other hop on-off tours this was mostly pointing out buildings and very superficial history. The Mont Royal portion was very disappointing as it’s just a brief view of the park - not really worth the time unless you’re going to get off and walk the park.
Overall, a fair way to spend a couple hours, but would not recommend it to anyone.

Good itinerary and saw the major sites which was great for our brief visit to Montreal. A great knowledgable guide and professional driver made the trip. Bus probably needs new transmission but all-in-all we enjoyed the ride. Not cheap but on balance good value. Thank you

Norman was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and interacted with all guests on the bus. Provided tips on best places to eat and visit after tour.

Ran off route, most busses were full and you would have to wait another 30 minutes for another full bus. If you say below tour was worthless. You are much better off to just take Uber from stop to stop as it is cheaper and more efficient use of your limited time in Montreal.

There are no signs telling you where a hop on bus stop is located. We walked up and down trying to find the stop and had to ask several people and then finally we called the company. The map we got for the tour from the hotel was sad, you can hardly read it and the scale is difficult to interpret which adds another difficulty in trying to find the place to get on. After about 30 minutes of the tour and half the stop’s promised we were all kicked off the bus and told we had to wait another 30 minutes for the next bus, while there another hop on bus pulled up discharged it’s passengers and they got on the bus we were on. Sure not sure why they were privileged. We finally got to old Montreal on a separate bus and once again after exploring we tried to find the stop to get back on. After much up and down the street due to no signs and waiting 30 more minutes we see a bus coming from opposite direction, which the map does not indicate so we crossed and got on it as we were afraid we never see one coming from the direction their map indicated. After 5 minutes we realized they went from stop 2 to stop 4 and were certainly not going to take us the the rest of the stops we did not see. So we saw half of what was promised and paid for and this tour was not inexpensive. We are intensely disappointed in our experience.

Might be ok if you get on first and get an upstairs seat and just make the entire loop. If you get off finding a seat upstairs is near impossible and with all the talking downstairs cannot hear the guide. Disappointing

The tour of Quebec City and Montmorency Falls was excellent. Our guide could not have been better. The drive from Montreal was not. We stopped halfway there for a 15 min break. Driver stopped at a nasty, dirty ESSO station. Bathroom was gross, and the food like high school cafeteria fare. Drive home...not much better. We didn't stop at all, and when we got into Monntreal, the driver just dropped people off a couple blocks from their hotels. It was dark, and many people were inteir 60's and 70's. One person was using a walker. NOT how to treat visitors.

I don't think I've ever reviewed anything as one star in my life. I hope I'm not just writing this to be petty, but rather to give the tour company an opportunity to improve and/or to save at least one other traveler some money. I booked this tour a few weeks before visiting Montreal. I requested pick up from my hotel and expected that they would confirm sometime before the day of the tour. A separate tour with a different company only reached out to confirm the afternoon before that experience, so I assumed the same might happen with this one. When I hadn't heard from them as it was getting close to the end of business hours on the afternoon before, I tried calling them. No one answered. On the morning of the tour, I called a few minutes before it was scheduled to start; then again when the time for the tour arrived, but no one had showed up to pick me up. No answer. I tried dialing the extension provided in the company's voice recording to speak with the site manager. It just redirected me back to the main menu. There was no option to leave a voicemail. I waited about half an hour longer, then decided to just find other amusements to fill the day. I'm now back home from Montreal, and I have still received no communication at all from this company.

Oui tu le peux faire l’excursion normalement. Toute personne qui fait un voyage aller retour sans passer la nuit est appelé excursionniste 😉

I´m interested in taking the Montreal Tour at 9 a.m on March 28, I´m making just a quick stop in montreal, arriving in a early train, and leaving in a later one, my question here is if i can take my luggage with me in the bus during the tour, *it´s a 20 kg bag, or if i should find a place to storage it while the tour.

We did the 3 hour city tour and not the hop on hop off. Sorry. I can tell you that parking in downtown Montreal is at a premium so most attractions would not have parking.

I am coming to Montreal in October and had planned to take the hop on hop off bus, but these reviews are certainly not encouraging. Are there any plans to have qualified drivers and tour guides on the bus so that I receive a TOUR of Montreal?
Is the construction still a problem on the route or have you made
adjustments in the route?

I took the hop on hop off for 2 days, first day I was disappointed due to bilingual guide, having to repeat in French and english, second day, we had an all English tour. We enjoyed the low price and convenience to get around the city. It stops at many of the great places. if you are looking for an in depth tour of the city, search for Andre Saint-Amant as a private tours on trip advisor.

We parked at the AVIS parking lot right across the street. I think it was 14 cad. Like the others have stated you can get the bus from different locations downtown. So if you have a hotel that is walking distance from a pickup. That would be a perfect option.
Can you take strollers on? During non-peak times, of course ;)

If you want to go from Montreal to Quebec City it is close to 3 hours drive, so you either drive yourself or Grayline Tours. The tour was good and they had good tour guide. With tips, about $100/ person. From 8am to 8:30pm.
