Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount-Royal, founded by Saint Brother André in 1904, is a catholic sanctuary and the largest shrine dedicated to Saint Joseph in the world. We welcome everyone to partake in panoramic views, music concerts and special religious celebrations; come discover natural, cultural and spiritual treasures in the heart of the city. Apart from the impressive building, the view from up there is awesome. There are escalators to the top if you don't want to take the steps.

During mass yes. You just have to go out so it depends on where you are sitting. While on your however, it might be a little harder because there are several floors and restrooms are not available on every floor

Gps led us to a place where there was no charge. I'm not sure what entrance you are referring to. We did not have a charge.
