We had a lovely cruise on the river, floating past the islands and Habitat, under the Cartier Bridge and on to the modern container port. The views of the fall colors and the downtown skyline were memorable.

Waste of money. Can’t see any sights from the boat. Load rap music on the boat . You are better off just walking around Montreal.

it was an amazing and beautiful experience although it's very short and there's no much to see and very short distance from old port!
Good if you want to see something different!

The boat cruise goes up the river but not much to see. Mostly working socks and the sites like the Biodome and Olympic stadium are to far inland to see. Save your money and just walk around Old Montreal.

There was a field trip of high schoolers. The relaxing boat ride we expected was loud and not enjoyable. We were not warned of the school group when choosing our seats, and were unable to hear any commentary.

No guide to point out any sites. Did not know there was a “picnic” option when making the reservation.

I would’ve preferred an actual tour guide pointing out points of interest. The information presented through a recording and not very insightful or descriptive. It was a lovely cruise ride but not informative.

Can you book your tickets at the location a few days in advance? I have the Passport MTL and would rather book in person than over the phone.

I plan to buy attraction passes for the 60-minute boat ride for 4 people. Do I need to reserve 4 slots for the date I'm planning on going on the cruise or do we just show up? Is there free parking for paying customers of the boat cruise?

There are parking garages within walking distance, and one parking lot where you can pay hourly. I would buy tickets in advance. We waited in line and ended up having to sit in the sun on the top deck in 100-degree weather.

Are the boats climate controlled? Do they have AC in the summer and heat when it is cold?

We were outside on the top deck. But downstairs it looked pretty nice; it was a pretty well-outfitted boat, so I would be surprised if it wasn't, especially since people host weddings and all kinds of events on it.
