As boats go this is fine but the main drawback is that the harbour/river in Montreal is simply not that attractive. The guide did his best to give local information but there just isn't much to see.

It was tough to hear the guide on this ride as most of the seating is outdoors this time of year, but we enjoyed sitting down after walking around all day, and it gave us some good views of the city.

We did not notice any sign informing tourists hours of operation @ ticket counters. Captains & crew are friendly, welcoming & professional; can greet passengers in English & French. Seats on top deck is recommended during sunny & good weather. Seats on lower deck are preferred during rainy/poor weather. Boat is clean, beautiful & maintained; has glass top which slides... More

Nice 90 minutes "walk on the river" in a bateau mouche, with explanation in French and English and beer and sandwiches (just eatable). not worth 30 canadian dollars plus 25 for food (optional)

Nice boat and staff. We did not try the food since we had stopped at Jean-Talon market in the morning and had quiche, sandwich and wine with us. Good narrrator. But last September we had done cruises in Prague, Budapest, and Vienna, so Molson and La Ronde not impressive to us. Sorry we did the 90-minute tour, 60 minutes would... More

"Relaxing, just okay Lunch experience” Dear retiree59_11, We are happy to read that you appreciated our boat, the quality of our customer service and the dynamic performance of our guide. Compared to its European counterparts, Montreal is a very young city and may not have the same abundance of architecture as the historical cities you have cited. Nevertheless, Montreal has... More

We did the lunch tour as part of a convention. We had a group of about 40 and reserved the top indoor section of the boat. The food was a set menu and was okay, nothing special, but not horrible so that was a bonus. The cruise covered a very small area. The boat screamed downstream for about 10 minutes... More

Lovely way to enjoy the harbor if the weather is nice. Good views of the Olympic Stadium, Biosphere, La Ronde amusement park, clock tower, Casino, and Habitat 67. Excellent narrator and very well run.

Never having tried a cruise tour in Montreal before, we decided to give this a try. While the narrator was good and they had a waitress come around for drink orders so you didn't have to go below to get them, there just wasn't that much to see. I would recommend that if you take this tour on a hot... More

We have been to the beautiful city of Montreal many times, but had never tried a dinner cruise. We thought this would be a good opportunity to see the city from the water and enjoy a special meal. Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
