Small, expensive museums better pack a punch, and this one does. Terrific curation, great space, and thoughtful design. I loved this museum, and I'm a tough customer.

My second visit was a noteworthy as my first last year. The current exhibition honors the diverse and multi talented French artist, Franciose Sullivan and German film producer Julian Rosefeldt. Sullivan started in dance, then expanded into other art form as in sculpture and painting....More

I've never been disappointed at this museum. There is always a great new exhibition and plenty of contemporary Quebecoise art. Always tops on my list.

Despite the fact that it appears as open on most websites when you arrive at the door there is a small sign saying it closed until 20th October to install a new exhibition. Pretty poor communication.

Last month I visited the exbition of Rafael Lozano Hemmer. It was very interesting, I Liked it so much. The museum itself has a great indoor architecture but I couldnt see other pieces of art. Some rooms were closed.

Came here to see Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's exhibit, and was very excited by the idea of interactive art pieces. We were not disappointed! We had a lot of fun interacting with the art in a lot of unusual ways, and it was all presented very well!...More

Save your money. There are plenty of great things to see in Montreal, this isn’t one of them. There is little art value in this museum. It appears to be someone’s warped sense of art that many won’t appreciate.

This museum is one of my highlights of a past visit a decade or so ago and I was very pleased to bring my family to. Interesting for all ages and at times thought provoking. A highlight of this trip as well.

I recently enjoyed a visit to this museum. Two of the current temporary exhibits were of great interest to me. The first one featured Rafael Lozano-Hemmer- Unstable Presence. The exhibit features a number of large scale pieces which invites the audience to actively participate with...More

Sharon, this is a museum I visit less frequently. I am spoiled by MOMA, NY. The MAC, as we call it certainly represents local and international artists, and is in a great part of town. Treir site will answer most if not all... More

We were there for an hour and that was enough to get a good sense of all the rooms. However, if you want to listen to all the videos and read all the texts, you will need more time.
