Recently attended La Soiree Nocturne at the MAC. Lots of young adults, music, and of course, the exhibits. Worth attending.

Every time I come to Montreal, I go to the Museum of contemporary arts and I am never disappointed. Yesterday I went to see the exhibition on Leonard Cohen. It was great. Two hours of pure pleasure for only $13 !.

I have visited this museum several times and most recently saw the Leonard Cohen exhibit. It was amazing! Definitely worth the visit. This exhibit did take up most of the room, however when I had gone about a year ago they had another exhibit on...More

Terrific exhibit that really tells the story and beautifully interprets the life and times of Cohen. A no miss for disciples and a great intro for novices. Perfect escape on a cold, sunny Montreal weekend. We spent three hours but could easily have stayed longer....More

Entered the museum an hour before closing and were surprised to have to pay full price but my wife and I both were very interested in the Leonard Cohen exhibit. We were not disappointed and easily could have spent 2 hours taking it all in....More

Went to see the Leonard Cohen Exhibition but had been twice in the past. This exhibition was absolutely great! Recommend coming early and spend a while in the first part where they show clips of Leonard Cohen singing and talking.

It's worth going only for the Cohen exhibit. Apart from that there is a lot on offer, mind there was a section closed for installation the day I was there.

Enjoyed 2 of the music rooms, where several people could enter at once, so no waiting. Other than that, there were long waits for single-viewer installations; some uninteresting visual art (not Leonard's); and overall I found the exhibition confusing. Apparently there were some of his...More

Attended the Cohen exhibit and was deeply moved by it. Some of the pieces are very meditative, letting the audience just take in the voice, words and features of Mr. Cohen. While some of them are best experienced just by yourself, others are incredible group...More

For a building that looked so impressive and huge from outside and a price tag of $ 19 per person we wasted an hour of Montreal fun visiting this museum. We love Leonard Cohens songs but not enough to pay 70$ to visit what was...More

Sharon, this is a museum I visit less frequently. I am spoiled by MOMA, NY. The MAC, as we call it certainly represents local and international artists, and is in a great part of town. Treir site will answer most if not all... More

We were there for an hour and that was enough to get a good sense of all the rooms. However, if you want to listen to all the videos and read all the texts, you will need more time.
