Loved our rafting experience! Everything about it was great, from the people in the office to the guides to the bus driver, everyone was friendly and welcoming. While rafting is a little terrifying and exhilarating at the same time, their expertise calmed all (well most) anxieties. The rafting itself was a thrill ride. Once we reviewed all of the possible outcomes with our guide, we felt prepared and SAFE throughout. I highly recommend this excursion to those considering it...live a little and just do it!

The whitewater rafting was amazing for the first time. Our guide did an amazing job communicating all that was going to happen and all that we needed to know. He made it thrilling, but we also felt very prepared. I thought it was excellent that three rafts went at the same time and that they provided a bilingual experience. They were not pushy for tips or for you to purchase photos. Would definitely go again and the price was a good value. I highly recommend Rafting Montreal. An amazing experience.

The activity was fun (risky yet safe, different yet doable). The guide (Karine) was amazing. She got right to the activity giving clear instructions then launching into the fun. How many can say they got to take a swim in the MIDDLE of the Lachine Rapids? Oh did I mention it was a decent arm and core workout as well?

This experience is extremely overpriced and misleading. They do not let you know that you end up doing all of the clean up, which is more work then the employees. We had to flip the boat, clean the boat, clean all of our equipment and only went over three waves…I’m sorry but if I am going to pay $55 I would rather you charge me less and use the money towards hiring staff to do the job your business should be doing. They had all of us flip the boat while the employee was watching then load it onto a trailer. This felt like a very bad summer camp although I am voluntarily paying for. Did I pay to do your businesses job or enjoy a trip rafting? I will never return here and I will make sure to let others to choose a different business. You guys need to seriously consider hiring staff to clean and take care of the equipment because it absolutely ruins the experience.

Hi Morgan, we're sorry to hear you felt misled. As an outdoor activity we still have to follow the government's health & safety guidelines during the pandemic, hence the need for customers to clean the gear they've been wearing during the activity. Unlike many businesses, we have the chance to be open this year. So, no this year isn't perfect, but we're happy to be here and to do the best we can. Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. Have a great day.

I broke my back on the jet boat ride 4 weeks ago - the boat was driven over such huge waves in such rapid succession that the impact from flying up out of my seat and coming back down completely crushed a vertebrae in my back. I spent 3 days in hospital in Montreal before being medically repatriated to England. My spinal consultant here said he'd never seen a compression fracture like it and I'm now waiting for spinal surgery and unable to work. I have no income currently as I can't drive or function normally. I am a healthy normal weight 45 year old but no bone density or pre-existing back problems and my life has literally ground to a halt after going on this ride. The waiver form talks about the risks of the ride but these are not clearly highlighted as a significant warning to people considering this ride or supported by a verbal run through of the risks. The captain of my boat told me that numerous people slip a disc on this ride every year. I'm liaising with the local statutory health and safety organisation to access information from this company on the number of accidents and incidents they have incurred since inception as I think potential passengers need to fully understand the risks involved in going on this ride. To be clear this ride is dangerous and should be avoided at all costs and I shudder now to think that I took my two children on this ride and watched them fly out of their seats too.

Staff is childish, they seem to be 15 years old mentally, they are so disrespectful, throwing clients off the boat and smacking clients butts and amongst them. Totally inappropriate, I'm 26 years old and found it out of place. Equipment is old, life vests disgusting, they smell like crap. I would never go back to that place.

Booked after reading all the great reviews and we were not disappointed.

As a family of 5 (3 boys, 18,16,12) we gathered at the location for 12:30. A few people were late in arriving, thankfully there was plenty of shade whilst we waited for them, and then the safety briefing. A quick bit of instruction on the water and we were paddling for the first rapids. Our guide Gabriel was great, a calming influence at all times, giving clear directions and good level of history as we passed down river for 7km.
Trip lasted around 2 hours, with time for swimming as we drifted down stream. Transportation is provided to get you back to the start location.

Overall, it was very well organised, great fun, value for money and we would certainly go again.

My wife, ten-year-old daughter and I went rafting on the river on a slightly cloudy day. It was huge fun. My wife was a little terrified because the waves looked so big, but she enjoyed it. I think my daughter enjoyed it as you might enjoy a roller coast. I loved the whole experience. So amazing that you can do this in the middle of a major city. Our guide Matt was enthusiastic and fun. I'm glad we have pictures of this. I would recommend this to anyone.

My wife and kids and I were in Montreal for a couple of days and a coworker recommended 'Rafting Montreal'. I was reluctant since our youngest is 6. We had a fantastic day out and can't say enough about the service and staff we interacted with there. Particularly, our guide Chris really helped to make it a fun and special day for the family despite the mixed weather conditions.

If your kids are adventurous and comfortable in the water, it's a fun ride for the family!! The rain added to the fun!

We signed up for the "family" trip, which is not supposed to be too intense, only class 1 0r 2 rapids. We were not really able to tell the difference between our tour and the other rafts, which where supposed to be doing the "adventure." We had four fairly young kids and a grandfather in our boat. This means that you can't get the power you need to direct the boat as well as you would want, yet we seemed to be on the same route. Some of these rapids were quite intense and had waves of 4-5 feet.

In one of the early waves two of the young girls and a strong and large man all fell out of the boat during one of the rapids. It was quite scary for one of the little girls, and she was crying at first. To her credit, she recovered. We ending up getting so much water in our raft that we were unable to do the last part of the rapids (last 30%?) and we sat still (not floating downstream) for almost 30 minutes, waiting for the other boats to come.

I realize that there are many factors out of their control--how high the water is, and the shifting of rocks below that affect the rapids. But the supposed opportunity to choose the level of intensity that's right for you, didn't seem accurate to me.
