It was totally worth the visit. I never saw a lightshow like this before. The altar is really beautiful.

The light show was nice but it was not very long nor did I feel it was worth the price of admission.

Check out the light show, Aura, at the Basilica. The Youtube videos look amazing, but seeing it in person left my jaw on the floor. We would have paid to see it again on our trip if we had the time.

Magnificent stained glass windows, high ceilings are the main beauty points of this old church. Famous people have been married here, like Céline Dion.

One of the best basilicas to be seen. After st joseph this place is a must see. It also has a laser show not to be missed. Very ornate and typical of a great basilica

Even though I live not far from the Basilica, I've been to visit several times. It's a beautiful piece of montreal history and a peaceful/relaxing break in the middle of the Old City. Sit awhile and let the music roll over you, at a concert,...More

The cost per person was $24.50 to see the light show. If you have never been to a laser light show, the cost was a bit high. However when you factor in the architecture of the church, the cost was well worth it.

If you're interested in the Aura light show in the Cathedral buy online before you go. They usually sell out.
