The content was okay! Having done several tours of this type, I knew what to expect. What made all the difference was clearly our storyteller. She was captivating, lived the stories she told us, made us interact with her, all the ingredients for us to have a good time.

Our tour guide Alice was amazing. Wonderful story teller, really engaging and enigmatic. It was a really fun tour and the pace was good. It was organised well and if you needed any help or had questions Alice was more than happy to help. I would 100% recommend this.

My favorite ghost tour yet and I've seen a lot of'em all over the World. My guide was Ronnie and it was on Dec 30th. The coldest Dec, 30th in Montreal's recorded history. Yet the tour was excellent. Wasn't rushed at all, every question was answered and then some. My tour was less theatrical as I was the only one but a large group with costumes and lanterns the added atmosphere will be all the awesome. I have yet to see the tour which includes Griffentown and that one look great for my next visit. I can't vouch for other guides but if you're fortunate to have Ronnie it will be undoubtedly be great.

We were looking for something fun to do with our teen son and this was a pleasant surprise. We’ve done many ghost tours all over the country and the storyteller here made this one stand out in our top 3! Franklin, our tour guide, was outstanding and kept our attention. He appeared to be a well-trained actor and certainly deserves a raise! He maintained character throughout the tour and remembered many participants’ names. It is a good few miles walk — can move quickly — so be sure you’re up for that. He does bring you to areas where you can sit while he chats with you. Also loved how he didn’t ask for a tip at the end — but we all gave one anyway because he was that good! Nice way to tour Old Montreal and learn its history.

Not the best ghost tour I ever experienced, but maybe not the worst. It was an amusing way to kill 1.5 hours, but the stories I did not dind that interesting. Nor were theu delivered very well.

For some background, I love ghost walks. I am not a believer in the supernatural, but I love hearing the stories and history while on them. Montreal is such a historic town, I was really looking forward to this ghost tour.
I understood that this tour was put on by actors, but I was not expecting that aspect to completely ruin the experience for me and my husband. I feel awful for giving a negative review, but we were miserable the entire time. After the tour, my husband and I both discovered that the other person had wanted to leave the tour the whole time, too.
I have family who have theater background, so I hesitate to criticize anyone's performance. But the guide was so... over the top, so distractingly bad that we had a difficult time enjoying the stories that were being presented to us. It was painful to sit through. Many of those in our tour seemed to be thinking the same thing.
The stories are truly interesting - I just wish they were presented in a bearable manner!

I was disappointed that we had to do the experience without a guide. The person whom was holding the flag, was going too fast and we had to ask him to slow down. We ended up not going to all the sites. I thought also that we would go down dark alleys and that there would be more to see. It would have been fun to go into a cemetery also, but I know there is not one close to where we were. I really had more expectations and they were not fulfilled in my opinion.

We were shuffled to 4 to 5 different locations with a story behind each one. The tour guide's English wasn't the greatest and the stories rambled with an occasional scream at the group. I had heard there would be costumed actors along the tour that would surprise you at certain places. None of that was done. Wasn't a good tour at all.

While on vacation with my wife, her sister & our 2 daughters (one 19 year old and a 12 year old)We had been in Montreal for a few days and decided we wanted a scary nighttime experience. Sad to say we were utterly disappointed with the entire experience...the host was over acting & neither funny or scary. The stories were canned and except for the last story it wasn’t even G rated horror. Long winded Watered down stories badly told is a more suitable name for this tour. I stayed only because I thought the 12 year old was enjoying it. Then at the end she said she had wanted to leave from the second story.
They need to add some surprises & special effects to beef this up & maybe embellish the stories some more.

Our guide was very good & walking around Old Montreal at night was cool. However, there really weren’t any ghosts to talk about. There were some gruesome stories but I wanted more.
