The Montreal botanical garden is a must see if you visit Montreal. My favourite part are the Chinese and Japanese gardens.

The flowers and density of different plants in the greenhouses was impressive. Also seeing the bonsai trees and then the butterflies was a great experience. Combined with a planetarium show yields hours of good times for a winter afternoon.

Botanical garden is the number one of my list! Great place to be. Flowers all the spring and summer time. Many quiets spots! A breath of fresh air right in the middle of Montreal! Go discover this wonderful treasure.

No there is no extra charge for the festival, only the entry fee for the gardens
