The Laurentian Mountains define the landscape along the horizon in this area. Be sure to get out of the city and go for a ride along the Transcadian Highway (Route 20)

Don't know what to describe it apart from its name Laurentian. It's beautiful, it's grandeur, it's peaceful, tranquil. You just wanted to be there.

What a delight to kayak down the St Lawrence to the Lake and ride bikes back. What a great chance to try out my new camera. Being from Arizona it is so nice to experience a true Fall Season!

We ate at a lovely hotel overlooking the lake. Hiking in the park is wonderful - even driving is an enjoyable experience.
