I never leave reviews on any platforms but I feel so strongly about this place that I had to. I specifically created an account just to let others know not to go to this spa. Beginning to end was a horrible experience. We went as a group of 7 for a bachelorette party. We had it all booked a month before and specifically asked for that everyone to be doubled up, except for one person. Just a side note: We all spoke english and did not speak any french. When we went there, they were very disorganized. They didn't tell any of us what time slot is which until we repeatedly asked them for a list of timings for each person. Then we were told that people will not be doubling up.. which makes no sense. They confirmed with us on the phone that everyone will be.. and it would makes sense to book it that way. A couple of us went into the sauna / Jacuzzi area.. we were not told that we were not allowed to talk AT ALL in there. There's an employee in there literally sweeping water on the floor and watching people to see if they talk or whisper.. if you even WHISPER... or turn your head to even mouth anything they will go up to you and tell you that you're not allowed to talk. Honestly, it felt like jail. There was a french couple who was in the same jacuzzi as me and they were literally whispering.. i mean.. with the jacuzzi jets i couldn't even hear them.. the worker came by 4 times to tell them not to talk. Even they said it felt like jail. What bothered me the most is that if they knew a group of english speakers are coming to the spa and we've never been there before.. they should at least have a small orientation in the beginning to let people know the rules. I don't care if everything is in french or people only spoke french. I respect that but you have to let the guest know beforehand. It was SUPER embarrassing and did not feel relaxing at all. Honestly, if you don't know sign language.. don't bother going to this spa. It also felt that if you don't speak french you're treated so differently from the french speakers. The staff is rude and overall... very DISORGANIZED. Spend your money some where else.. cause this place isn't worth it.

The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.

Rude staff but good massage
Dec. 2019
The front entrance staff was horribly rude. I would be willing to give them a pass because it was the holiday season, but seeing as I was paying 130.00 dollars, I found it pretty outrageous. There are much better places in Montreal for that amount where the staff greet you, make you feel welcome, take the time to show you around, and even ask how your massage went. Instead, my "greeting" was an annoyed "can I help you" with a credit+debit terminal shoved in my direction, and a staff member who got impatient with my questions, notwithstanding that they knew it was my first time there. I also had a horrible time with the lock and ended up lugging my purse stuffed with my clothes around the facility. The place was also a zoo with tons of people walking around. The only great thing about the experience was the masseuse who was very kind, professional and attentive. He seems to be the only one that cared about his job. I will not be recommending this place to family or friends.

No masseuse for our massage
Apr. 2019 • Couples
We made a reservation for a massage and decided to get there a little early to try the thermal experience. The saunas were nice but the baths and were a bit small and the relaxation spots can get crowded real quickly. We didn’t really mind as we were there for a massage. We were told to go wait in the waiting area where the time of our massages came. We waited there for 15 minutes before having to go to the front desk and ask them what was going on. That is when they realized that they left their masseuses go home and that no other staff was available for our massage. We were offer to wait another 1h30 (mind you that l’s how long we’ve been waiting so far) for staff to be available to massage us, which we declined; didn’t really feel like spending 4h of my Saturday evening in an interior spa. We were also offered an hydro-massage bed treatment, which we also declined. We went there for nothing, if we’d had known, we would have gone somewhere else, as all we wanted was a massage. The lady at the front desk didn’t really seem to care about our situation as she kept playing on her phone while we were getting our refund. Sad, place looked nice, but we will not be back.

A perfect get away in the city
Jan. 2019 • Solo
I love this spa. It is an excellent place to unwind and relax. The nordic bath area is amazing. It is calm and refreshing.

I had a massage from Isabelle L. It was the best massage I ever received. It was perfect and I will be back to get another one for sure. It is a great idea to include the access to the baths with the massage.

What sold it to me are the extra attentions such as having cold facecloth by the spas, the chocolate and smoothies, having free tea, nuts and apple in the nordic baths.

Love love love this place. It is clean, staff is welcoming and amazing.

Relaxation time
Feb. 2019 • Couples
One of the most wonderful spa sessions we had. Great staff. We were late due to unforeseen circumstances and called the spa to inform them. They were courteous and did not reduce our massage time. Everyone was welcoming. The spa layout really reflects a sense of relaxation.
We had a couple massage and Sabrina my massage therapist was really the best I had so far. From my previous experiences, she is really a great one and I strongly recommend being at her care.
Louis was my husband’s therapist and was very attentive to his requests. He was able to provide excellent service and advice.
We had Detente package including massage, hydro baths, sauna, hammam. And they provided juice, chocolate, tea and water.
Top Spa. Thanks for making this a great time for us

Great Spa in the City

I needed to take a me day and this spa did not disappoint. Easy to get to and with lots of parking, everyone was very welcoming and the place was well kept and clean. I had a milk and honey hydrobath which was amazing, followed by a massage from Alain which was heavenly. Julie was the esthetician for my facial and she was so warm and funny and lovely and my face has never felt better. Lastly I had a pedicure from Cecelia and she was so sweet and easy to talk to. I took a package and found the price really reasonable. I am already looking forward to going back.

Good experience

Very excellent experience at this spa. Is there a free parking, really clean and professional! Excellent massage therapists, always satisfied with the service. Also, my massage came with unlimited access to the Nordic baths- unlike other spas that have a time limit. I will recommendated this spa without hesitation.

Stay away!!!

What a mess is this place. The staff is extremely disorganized and they are a French centric business. If you speak english it's extremely hard to communicate which I find rude as a visitor. The massage for both sessions of me and my wife were extremely average wit very inexperienced therapists. I was taken in an elevator on the third floor because "they had run out of rooms" and walked in a corridor in sleepers and rope where other businesses where. It was embarassing. I hated the experience from beginning to end and found the service rude and would never put foot in it again. Bad, bad business.

Good man massage
May 2018 • Couples
There was a promo, my bro got me a gift for my birthday. When I called to book my massage appointment, I didn't know really which package my bro had ordered for me. I thought it was 60 min but then I learned it was 90 min. I called twice to tell them and they tried to cheat and denied until I was fed up and told my bro to call to settle it. Turned out it was indeed 90 min and I only had a 60 min notice to make there from Ville St Laurent. Good thing traffic was easy.
Massage was great, I was sore for a whole week afterwards but that's only because I went in in bad shape with regards to joint pain.
The rest of the spa was very ordinary from the locker to the saunas.
Kept missing the last step in the tubs because there's no black stripe!
Make sure you get what you pay for with these people
