This show happens SUNDAY nights! Shows start at 8:15pm. Comedy Abroad happens weekly, where top Montreal comics perform at M Bar. The crowd is international, the comics are hilarious, and the beer is cheap (swish!). Top Montreal pros and fast-rising-amateurs take to the stage. Our comics have performed at Just For Laughs, Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International, Halifax Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, & been on network television in Canada, USA, and Australia. We're a "pay-by-donation" meaning there's no charge to come in, grab a seat, enjoy the show. We'll ask you for a donation later on in the evening. We'd love it if you could kick us a $8-10 - especially if you had a blast, but pay-what-you-feel. Did we mention the beer is cheap? We just did! Showtime is 8:15pm, every Sunday night. Happy hour starts at 7:15 with even cheaper prices. We're near Metro Berri UQAM. Bring senses of humour!

I didn't know what to expect when I heard that my youth hostel had a comedy show, but I am so happy that I went. This is by no means an amateur hour open mic. These comedians are clearly very talented at their craft and...More

First night in montreal visting this show. Nice mix of amateur to professionell comedy speakers. Everybody has their own genre and you'll defently have a great lough. Producer of the show does a lot of fundraising for central america keep supporting.

It was my first time in Montreal and I am so glad that I went to this show. Given the nature of comedy shows and the uncertainty of whether you will enjoy it or not, I was definitely not disappointment. There were various acts so...More

Thanks for the awesome review! We're actually located in The Village as opposed to Vieux Montreal!

Address correction, actually 1245 rue Saint-André. Very nice environment and crowd. Good time for a younger adult scene!

Personal taste in comedy is totally subjective and so this review isn't based on the performers themselves, but rather, the concept and venue. The venue is very cool; located in the basement of the M Hostel with an awesome vibe. The staff were welcoming and...More

Amazing relaxed and intimate atmosphere, see rising stars and chat with them! Comedians practice their material here, it is very exciting. The bar is in the basement, lovely decor and friendly cool staff.

Went to a few shows here, amazing talent, I have never laughed so hard. Local and out of town comics. Different every time and always a good time. Great drinks at a really reasonable price as well.
