It's a fairly long street in downtown. There are some good restaurants here. It is a vestige of the old downtown that is rapidly disappearing among new skyscrapers. Still some old buildings here with bars and restaurants in the basements. Lots of bars.

Bars, bars, and bars. That's what you will find on the few blocks that make up the night life area on this street. Some modest restaurants that are really bars. Quiet on week days. Lots of bars.

We wandered Crescent Street for coffee and meals. Somehow, it did not feel as vibrant as I remember from my student days. There were still a few familiar haunts and the atmosphere was still upbeat. Enjoy.

I have heard so much about Crescent Street over the years, that I didn’t know I was on it, until after I dined at Burger Bar! This is a happening street in Montreal, full of restaurants, pubs, shops and known for its night life!

Having walked up and down this street on my way to McGill in the 80s and 90s, and now with the street partially closed off to car traffic, this street is as good as it always was. It still has high turnover for restaurants, but the entire downtown Montreal does, so who cares? Great spot to spend an afternoon/evening still

This street is currently pedestrian-only, which is great! Can get loud and busy on weekends and summer evenings, which makes it fun and exciting! The restaurants are average, nothing fabulous, but sitting outdoors under the gaze of Leonard Cohen's mural on the side of one of the high-rises overlooking Crescent street is pretty cool.

"Eat Streat" Montreal.
"Something for everyone, loaded with eateries. If you cannot find your needs here....I give up. Crowded but fun with the famous Quebecois courtesy and pride in good and friendly service"

Ask locals about some Canadians who have been spending their lifetime walking, eating, drinking or just checking things out on Crescent Street. The Rodeo Drive of downtown Montreal.
