Cite du Havre is a nice park with great views of Montreal. The hop on and off bus comes and tour the area. This main road that leads to La Ronde, the six flag amusement park; the casino, the Biosphere, the Jacques Cartier Bridge and many festivals that are located in this area. This area is also famous for their luxury condos, like Tropic Nord and the Habitat 67. You can rent a bike in the old port of Montreal and follow the bike path to get here and enjoy the spectacular views of Montreal.

This is the greatest park in Montreal. Not many people know about it. Because, of the location. Accessible by car, taxi or bike. Huge parking under the bridge. Everyday cleaning. Toilet open till 9PM. The most romantic view of Montreal at night. At the of that park you feel like beeing on a island between the island of Montreal and the island Ste-Hélène. Full view of the bridge Jacques -Cartier and the Old Port...Wonderful place to do a piknic with friend and family.

This small park is generally found by architect buffs who walk out to look at Habitat '67 on Ile de Havre. Tiny park at the end of the promontory with an amazing view of the Old Port and City of Montreal. Very peaceful and very green. Recommend getting there by bicycle (rental Bixi) and bring a picnic!

This park is beautiful. People fishing, beautiful view of the city, free parking under the bridge. And nobody is there. A hidden gem.

This is a well hidden jewel and gem in Montreal. Know for the river surfers, early morning fishers and family coming to picnic while they catch fish... or best place to watch the fire works on Canada Day...

We have seen this area, also known as Parc de Dieppe, from the Vieu Port. While not easy to get to, it is worth the trip. Great view looking back onto Old Montréal. Places for relaxing, BBQ, and seeing fireworks when on at the Six Flags amusement parc. Discovered some neat surfing area on the South side of the peninsula, too. There is some car parking under a highway just before you enter the parc. You leave the main road, don’t go to the Casino! Accessible also by bike, bus, walking. The parc is a food desert, so plan to bring what you want to eat, drink with you.

This has quickly become one of my favorite parks in Montréal. Situated on a peninsula in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, the park offers visitors incredible unobstructed views of Vieux Montréal, and on the reverse side, Longueuil. I can think of no better place to enjoy the fireworks that Montreal hosts each year. The park is also a great place for a BBQ, biking, dog walking, fishing, or simply relaxing and reading a book. The park is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and there are restroom facilities and a pavilion for visitors. Easily accessible by car, or by bike from Vieux Montréal

First night in Montreal, found this hidden gem. Only downside was the poor management of the parking facility.

A hidden gem, close to Old Montreal, for gorgeous views across the river to Old Montreal. Parking is available and close by you'll find the Habitat 67 buildings and you can bicycle to the Ste Helene islands. Don't forget to watch the surfers riding a permanent wave behind the Habitat 67. The spot is well hidden, but popular, just follow the surfers out.
