I studied at UdeM, as the university is commonly known. It's a nice enough university, with some nice architecture if you know where to look. The main hall of Roger-Gaudry (the ubiquitous building with the huge tower, which is the health sciences building) is a...More

we liked our visit: they have buildings of reasonable size. There was some art display when we were there. It is also very well located on the Mountain. Easy to access. Montreal is a secure city.

Lots of money and enthusiasm has gone into this university. Strange part is that they have not done much about making a college town of the surrounding neighborhood - I suppose the rest of the city offers too much for the students to stay close...More

Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the
tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive

walks that cater to every season and level of athlete.
In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and
ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its
