Honey Martin's is one of my oldest friend's neighbourhood bar. There is quite a variety of people it serves-young, old, trendy, old fogies like me. The first time I went, in 2022, the service was friendly and so were the customers. The beer is good and so is the music. I will definitely make it a regular stop when I'm in Montreal.

I have been there twice, both times I was insulted and threatened by shaved head 5ft11 and this time I went home without my phone (Samsung s20) gone! The guy even threatened to bash my face against the pavement if I didn’t leave, with the help of his friends. Wtf Honey Martin!? Thought this bar was people friendly. I will come today as soon as you open and I will press charges against your establishment 100% I let it go the first time.

I never get tired of this place...always fun, staff and patrons are super friendly, music is always great, and Trivia night on Tuesdays is not to be missed if you're into that type of thing!

A very nice, small and typical Irish pub in NDG. Nice and a bit old decoration (which is an addition to the atmosphere). Most of the costumers are local. I’ll go back again

Real Irish bar in Montreal without an Irish man in sight, it's perfect!
Great music at night, Saturdays it starts at 7h30.
Hangout for locals, writers, musicians, and miscreants. My favorite place in Montreal.

We were originally in the immediate area for another restaurant located across the street which happened to be closed despite their posted hours. Both my friend and I turned around and said, "how bout that?"

Small place that successfully displays the local pub culture. Not a lick of food to be found- Just alcohol... Perfect for us. There were about 8 patrons at the bar with 1 bartender. All seemed to be long-time regulars as they had food delivered and shared with each other including with bartender. We were there for a little over an hour. Prices do seem to be quite high (as they took american on par- $34 american for 4 beers seemed a bit high).

Looked like they had a band area set up for what I would assume beweekends I would assume.

Whomever the Bartender was (shift end @9pm) she was very nice-spoke English VERY well (a first for us on our time in Montreal). If we ever make it back to the city, we will probably come back for this reason.

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly crowd , warm and welcoming staff with a wide selection of finest thirst quenchers. One of the few Real Auld Traditional Irish Pubs left and a must see for anyone's bucket list. Live Celtic Music entertains and a fantastic homely place to be.
