Neighbourhood: Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.

My best friend took me and a buddy of ours out to Obsidem for my birthday last week.
If you are looking for something challenging, team building, and downright FUN, I definitely recommend going to Obsidem Games. I had so much fun.

Went there with another couple and we did the heist. We had an amazing time and actually went again to do the dynamic duo. So far our family has gone to 4 different games places and it is the best one. Find the key was only one room full of padlocks and keys. Intrigues Urbaines was very challenging but also medium to low tech and the biggest negative point about that one is that there is no logic to the information you find, it doesn't flow. So you will find some information but you have to rely on your clues given by the staff to know when to use them. A/maze was much better than the other 2, we did the lost temple and we would go back. The only reason why I like Obsidem a bit better than A/maze is the effects/high tech parts in the game. (but there is none of that in the dynamic duo) So in short: Obsidem & A/maze are great .. don't waste your time with the other two.

We did the 90-minute Project X. The group is split into two teams; one group are captives of the evil "Obsidem Corp", and the other are a team who've arrived to break them out. Once the captives are released, the two teams have to work together on a heist. The game included several clever puzzles, and the teams had to work together (via text messaging) to help each other out. The occasional hints from the staff were subtle, and helpful without being obvious. Very entertaining.

Worst escape room in mtl, poor service, no AC. Rooms are not as good as Find the Key or Trapped. If you must go, choose a cool day and do not overdress.

These escape rooms are story-driven and inventive! We had a great time closing portals between dimensions and solving an explosive murder case. The puzzles were challenging and inventive, and each of the rooms we did required us to think differently to get out. We can't wait to try the other rooms next time we're in Montreal!

My daughter wanted to try an escape room with her friends.
We booked through the Obsidem website for the 90 minute rescue/heist mission.
They had a lot of fun, everyone was very happy, and the staff were very friendly and useful.
We will repeat !!!

One of the best experiences that you must try... It mixes technology with the regular "find clues and solve puzzles style"
Amazing experience

Highly recommend this opportunity. We were looking for something to do inside but most definitely would do this again rain or shine. 5 of us did " The study" room" We had an hour to put the clues together and locate the key to exit the room. Great introduction by staff and at any point during the time that you are stuck you can ask for up to 3 tips to get you back on track. Requires team work and checking very carefully as to any possible clues that might help you. All five of us had tons of fun and found the key to escape with literally 2 seconds to spare!! As much fun as it was I would not be interested in participating with strangers. Well worth $25 each.

I visited Obsidem with 3 family members and we booked the Project X mission. An hour before our game we were advised that we were going to be paired up with four complete strangers which was fine because that is their policy. However, during our game we were split up into two groups (mine and theirs) and in order for my team to open move forward in our game we had to rely on the other team..resulting in us doing absolutely nothing as they were focused on other things apart from us.
On Obsidem's part, we arrived there 15 minutes before our scheduled time and only began around 45 minutes later. Also, when you walk in there was no staff member at the reception for about 10 minutes. Also, they have lockers for you to put your personal belongings in however the front desk keeps the keys. On your end you do not have any proof as to which key is yours therefore any key can be given to anyone. The guy at the front desk mentioned to us that "we rely on people being honest". If you visit and don't feel comfortable leaving your personal belongings in the hands of other don't bring anything you can't keep on you.
The game in itself was not bad, it was boring and as mentioned you rely on other to get you out so if they can't figure it out you sit there waiting around and watch as your 35$ goes down the drain.

Loved the challenge.... Loved spending quality time with my teen age boys. Game was interesting and challenging. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Loved how she tried to help us towards the end. Fabulous experience. The downside, a tad expensive. $100 for the four of us for an hour. Be nice to have a family rate.
