We really enjoyed our tour. The beers we sampled were very good, and the food served went with them well. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was a nice break on an otherwise busy long weekend.

I was looking forward to an afternoon of tasting beer (and eating poutine) and this tour exceeded my expectations in every way! Our guide was knowledgeable about beer, this history of microbreweries in Montreal and general history of the city! I attended the tour in August 2020 and felt very safe during the whole experience with the safeguards put in place by the tour company to protect everyone during the pandemic. I’ve been living in Montreal for a year and was able to explore and learn about the city in ways I hadn’t to date. I can not recommend this tour enough! If you like beer, food and great company, this is the tour for you!

This tour was ok. There was a large bachelor party from Calgary which joined us. While the men were entertaining and friendly, their rowdiness wasn't the vibe my significant other and I had hoped going for. As a result it had a very frat boy feel to it. I had hoped this would be more of a walking tour, but really it was a drinking tour. The first two bars were about five minutes apart and the last bar was the furthest away, with about a 15 minute to 20 minute walk. That to me is not a walking tour. The food was meh at best, with a 1 year old aged cheddar. I have cheddar as old as that in my fridge. While I don't want to criticize the tour company for the bachelor party's behaviour, I wonder if they should have had their own tour because it really prevented us from talking to anyone else and sort of overtook the tour. The tour guide was nice and tried really hard to make us feel welcome, but sometimes it came across a little phony (e.g. I'm talking to you because I want tips). I think the tour would have really been better without the bachelor party and a bit smaller so it could create an intimate experience. Just my two cents--I know it's a lot less lucrative.

I was in a group of 8 men 24-27yo for a bachelor party. We did this tour just after lunch on a Saturday and every person has nothing but positive things to say. Our tour guide was Gabriel(I think) and he was the perfect host. He was very knowledgeable about the city, bars, and beers. The 3 bars we visited were great spots that we wouldn't have gone to if not for this tour. Great beers and food at each place and a terrific tour between spots. It was very cold and windy for us but we were happy to be outside hearing stories from such a great guide.
