About Spade & Palacio Non-Touristy Tours
Spade & Palacio is a collaboration of two born and raised, young Montrealers who are passionate about our city and love to show it. We originally met during our guiding classes and bonded over a shared interest and intention of having our visitors walk away with a day in the life of a local experience. Three years later we decided to take matters into our own hands and the company was born. It’s simple; we take our guests away from the mains, our tours are non-touristy. We want to showcase unknown parts while promoting local, young and women entrepreneurs on our walking food tours and your local guide’s favorite parts of town on our bike tours. Unlike other companies, we guarantee intimate groups of 10 or less. We hire only local and licensed fun guides. You aren’t sheep we herd around town, you’re our guests and we keep it human scale, authentic and real.

Loved the tour and our guide, Danny, was very knowledgeable, he knew of every artist and technique used and could tell the story behind each design, great tour and it's Covid-friendly (outdoors) which is great!

Heya! So happy to be able to run this route during this tough year. The feedback has been great and it’s been a pleasure to hosts guests like you. Check us out when things get rolling again for the food tours or bike tours. Thanks for sharing it means a lot being the small operation we are, and, to have locals recommend a tour company!

This is the perfect pandemic (and non pandemic) activity ! It's safe (distanced and with masks), and it's a really fun way to discover something in times where it feels like there's nothing to do. I've been living in this neighbourhood for 3 years, and yet the tour was so good that I discovered new murals or learnt the story behind those I pass every week. I really recommend it, both for visitors and locals !

Such a great outdoor activity for those looking to explore and learn more about Montreal. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and funny and made the experience even better. Given the current covid-19 restrictions I can't recommend this safe activity more — get outside, walk around, and explore this beautiful city with Spade & Palacio!

Totally recommend this outdoor Montreal Mural Tour that can safely and happily be enjoyed in any season! Danny was a super friendly and knowledgeable guide, involved in his community, he even brought street art in the area where he lives in Montreal. I feel like this tour can be as much enjoyable for international travelers as for locals! As a local, it was great to see my city with fresh eyes and learned about the artists and pieces of art's background.
