Come on TripAdvisor, this bar is closed since more than 2 years ! I tried to mark it as closed on the page many times....Do you guys have enough employees to take care and listen to your T.A members? Why is it so long to update ??? You are not helping tourists or montrealers by keeping old businesses into your... More

The owner is a douch and has no respect, always drinking, the staff horrible over priced, and it's as if there is no management in that place

I came to this place after reading some good reviews and I'm really confused as to why anybody would recommend this place. It was basiclly a little hole in the wall bar trying to be some kind of upscale place. There are way better places in Montreal for a good time.

Got there around 9 pm on a Saturday night and got the window seat with the kewl funky chairs in the shape of human hands! Had the Jolly Rancher drink which did not disappoint! (I had actually got the jolly rancher recommendation from another trip advisor review so thanks!) Music was great and great atmosphere. When we left to go... More

This is a good place to start your night before heading to a bigger dance club. They pour great drinks at good prices and has chic interior. My only complaint is that it is too small and can get packed once people start dancing. It can get pretty claustrophobic the later the night goes. Overall not a bad place. It's... More

I first went to GoGo back in 2006 and it was great... really great back then. Today a lot of the comercialisn factor has creeped in. The music and place is still fun, but I do like intermingling more with the local Montrealers. Nevertheless the [people are all in the same mentality to meet and greet. Although there are newer... I started going to Gogo Lounge recently and became a regular. I just learned it's been around for sooo long (I'm new to the neighborhood), and it's still one of the most happening places in the city, all the time. unpretentious, unlike other places on the main, staff is always friendly and looks great. Love the music!! Amazing place to... More

I've been to the Gogo Lounge on different evenings and each night has it's own feel, but the 1 common denominator is this kind of wild sexy party undertone ! One of the best places around !! The Gogo is a "MUST" when in Momtreal !!

Either you feel relax or like a party animal, Gogo will please any mood and/or personnality type. Its unique decor made of vibrant colors and funky accessories makes u already at ease. Gogo music is amazing, since it goes from soul to rock, hip-hop, house or dance, transcending epochs genuinely. Prices are more than affordable, especially for St-Laurent area, as... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
