This was an incredible experience. The staff was knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and went out of their way to make sure I got the most out of the adventure. Great value for the experience.

Having been racing for a number of years, the experience of driving a F3 and a F1 car on the simulator was a night and day difference. The Vortex Racing experience is an awesome time! I highly recommend it.

This is an absolute blast. Wasn't sure what to expect, but the experience in the simulators was definitely worth doing - though possibly not for those with sensitive stomachs! Driving in an F3 car and then an F1 car - and then out on the streets of Montreal! - was an adrenaline rush worth doing again. Great for family - the kids (preferably teens) can show off in a safe environment without risking the family car!!

Only 4 stars as it really was pretty short.

Real deal. Was a blast with friends. Wished it lasted longer than 10 minutes, that is why only gave it 4 stars.

Racing experience today was great, but the guy was arrogant and not customer oriented, he must change his job! The bad review is only for him inappropriate behavior.

Hello e_marcova, We regret that you felt you had a negative customer service experience and we will review the situation to see how we can improve for the future. Our staff take the best efforts to accommodate all our guests, though we are only able to provide training in English and French. Given the particular language requirements, there may have been some miscommunication. We are pleased you enjoyed the racing simulation experience and appreciate your feedback.

Incredible adrenaline rush! The equipment is quite intimidating, you feel like you're about to enter Ready Player One. When time was up it didn't feel like it was enough

Vortex has the real thing when it comes to racing simulators. You really feel you are driving a F1 super car. This is great, if you know what that means.

A simulator is not a video game, its purpose is realism not entertainment. But for me and my 13 year old son, it was great fun.

The person helping us was not very friendly, and at times grumpy. Still, he gave clear instructions and his knowledge of F1 racing was high.

It is rather expensive, but worth it for those looking for an experience as real as possible without the risks of racing a real car.

Vortex racing allows you to race against virtual or real life competitors in grand prix or formula one racing events. You literally sit inside a race car body, and operate either a grand prix or formula one car, first on a test track to get used to it and then against others in a real race. The car has hydraulics and three large monitors and a superior sound system to generate the actual sights and sounds, as well as the feel of a real race. The game generates a statistical analysis of your driving at the end so you can see how you did on a number of variables. Apparently this is the kind of thing they really use to train new GP and F1 racers. It was very fun, but was more work than you might expect. Also, one of our party got motion sickness from the cars. This is not just sitting in front of a video monitor, this is actually controlling a race car across actual or composite tracks. Lots of fun. Two issues, first, motion sickness can be a problem for some, and second, the race does not last very long, about 15 minutes for warm ups and racing. Still I have to say it was fun enough, even though a bit expensive, and I can say I recommend it for anyone looking for a real racing experience in the safety of a simulator.

When they tell you it’s a 15 minute simulator, be prepared for the most intense 15 minutes of your life. This is not a video game, it’s an intense simulator that will leave you exhausted like you were really driving a formula one car. Awesome experience but not for the faint of heart!

You don't have to be an F1 racing fan to appreciate these professional simulators. You can feel the G forces and if you just like the sensation of speed, you'll have a great time. If you like car racing you will love this. You can get suited up or not and they will adjust the level to what's right for you. The people running it are very knowledgeable and helpful. This was a great experience well worth the money and I wish we had done it earlier in the trip so we could've done it again!
