Fun for elementary school kids I think but a little expensive for what you get. A lot of walking around and not much of an engaging story. Some cool stuff to see for my boys 8 and 10 years old, but older kids might find this weak.

I went to SOS Labrynthe in May of this year. It was a wonderful experience and took so long, I spent most of my day there, (: SO FUN! Carolina was kind to my friend and me; she could skate very well. She let us out after asking a couple of times. Thank you to SOS Labyrinth for this wonderful experience.

Great time with friends. There were eight of us with three teenagers. Rainy day on Montreal, the activity made us have a good time.
Very well thought to hide 4 treasures in this maze, it animates the game more!
Interesting concept and the kids are super nice!

Labyrinthe used to be so much fun, and I am very sad that it's closed. I've been there with small and large groups, and we've always had a very good time. I liked the fact that they had different themes. Makes me wonder what happened. Why did they close?

We had about an hour to kill and so my husband and I and our 2 teens decided to try this out. The staff were incredibly rude (and we are pretty easygoing). I witnessed one staff member SCREAM at a gentleman for not walking around the proper rope. She actually screamed. I heard him say "I'm a customer!" and she yelled "I don't care!" It was bizarre!
The maze itself takes absolutely no skill whatsoever - it really is just luck to find your way around. After about 50 minutes we'd had enough and had to get to our Segway tour and so when we saw a staff member we explained we needed to leave and could she show us how to get out. She refused and said you'll need to find your own way out and then waved in a general direction. After about 10 minutes and worried about missing our tour, we ran into her again and I said "we need to leave" and she called us "quitters" and basically scoffed at us with a sneer on her face. In 11 days of holidays across Montreal, Panama, and Aruba this was absolutely our only regret. I would have rather lit $50 on fire and had more fun watching it burn than spend a second in this second rate activity.

We had 3 young kids and 3 adults. I hoped for an experience like one of the "escape" mysteries or some game of skill. Nope.
This game has no skill needed. You literally just wander around. There are no clues along the way and it is a trial and error thing. It really wasn't particularly fun, and more of a chore by the time we got to the 2nd one. The novelty wore off after the first one.
I don't recommend it.
For the owners, how to make it better:
1. you need interactive clues along corridors. Get away from the trial and error feel of the maze
2. the monitors or guides inside really have no function. They need to offer a clue or even have people answer a riddle or "pay" with a joke or something for a clue.
3. the materials are somewhat cheap. The look of the maze can be improved.
4. have a wall of "fastest times"
5. offer some sort of prize at the end for a certain time of completion

we went to this SOS maze at the old port, we were 2 families (4kids 4adults) , and let me say we had an amazing time, this place is just awesome.
Its in a huge warehouse, roughly $60 for a family of 4, you don't need reservations just show up.
They give you a brief explanation and you punch your card and off you go on a treasure hunt, you have 4 stations to find , each station you get your card stamped, this place is huge and on average you will spend 50-60min feeling like a rat in a maze.
Lots of fun , they have staff going around on roller blades in case you need some help, of course they won't help you much but....will hint :)
once your done, you punch out your card to see the time it took,,
you could split up your group to make it a competition or do it as a family.
We really loved , i highly recommend it and we will definitely return.
ps wear comfy shoes..trust me

Another great adventure for the daring ones. This looks like it could be the highlight of many families' visit to Old Port of Montreal. We saw & heard many adventurers making their way amongst the ropes twists & turns and zipping down for a safe landing. The two adventure spots are close together and offer fun for the whole family - the labrinth & zip line however, were just a bit too much for us mobility challenged people but we did enjoy watching the expressions on those that ventured into them.

Our 9 y.o. had a blast! Yes it is not cheap and yes it is hot inside, but it was worthy. Can be a bit frustrating, but we liked the fact that it wasn't so easy. It was good to try something different and create memories.
If you have kids, do try! It takes 40-60 mins.

Our kids are 5 and almost 3. Would this be fun for them, or are they too young?
