The gardens were just starting to bloom, with peonies and tulips and many more gorgeous flowers to see. Great place to rest and relax from walking to the old city.

If you walk the Plains you will come up on the statue. It was a gift from an American and I guess there are two or three other versions of the statue around the world. It is just another reminder that you are in "New...More

I can imagine that Joan is beautiful in the spring and summer in this beautiful garden filled with flowers, but in the snow, there was a starkness to the statue that rendered her even more beautiful and poignant at the same time. There she is...More

Walked from the Chateau Frontenac through the Plains of Abraham, towards the Museum of Fine Art, and happened upon this beautiful garden between the river and the street along the way. The statue of Joan of Arc is in the center, surrounded by green grass...More

Rather strange to find a statue of Joan of Arc on the Heights of Abraham. Not a particularly fine statue, but the garden was beautifully designed and planted. Very well looked after.

If you happen to be nearby, take the time to go and enjoy this oasis of peace away from the tourist crowd. You can also walk from there the the MNBAQ by following the quiet Laurier Street going west.

Very close to the Grande Allée and many hotels. This park is located outside the old walls of Québec City. During summer, come and see a beautiful variety of flowers. For Halloween, it is always very well decorated. At minus 30° celsius, dress warmly and...More

We strolled through the gardens at dusk by chance and were amazed to see vignettes of historical stories showcased by lights, Halloween figures and decorations. Very well done!

We saw this small park on our open top bus tour--it was so beautiful--we had to go back in our car.We sat on a bench and relaxed and watched folks and looked at the beautiful layout of the garden--nice stop to slow down.

A handsome figure set in an attractive garden location within a park, this statue was only moments away from our hotel and I had the pleasure of multiple visits. The work itself does justice to the heroic story. Joan sits tall in her saddle astride...More
