It was a family visit on our way back home from our Quebec vacation. We did not forget to buy the local produced cheese, butter, cranberries, marshmallows, maple syrup and the best part was to sit and eat from the restaurants. There are some really nice spots to click the market beauty by the port.

Amazing market, both for fresh food and prepared foods of various sorts, as well as Canadian liquors (check out Mona's Cassis, the best cassis we've ever had). You can bring back a LOT of fresh foods to the US from Canada, way more than you probably think, but do check the US customs website for current information. Also a great... More

Walked around the indoor port market. Picked up some delicious local foods, cured meat, smoked fish, maple candy, and many more delicious options to take back to your hotel and enjoy for a snack. Also a lot of other local hand crafted goods which are different than the common things you find in souvenir shops around town.

We bought a variety of sausages, chilled cider, jams, cheese, confit, pie and made a Christmas Eve picnic out of it! Don't miss the chilled cider! Some of the food, such as the pie, wasn't what we hoped it would be. However, my family has never had a pie made by someone other than I.

It was amazing to see all the local crafts and food. Almost all vendors had samples available. There was a sense of excitement in the air. Wish we had more time to explore, we found it on our last day of our 4 day trip.

Wonderful market! Lots of things to taste and buy. Not much fruit and veg this time but lots of wine to try and buy. Currently decked out for Christmas.

What a fabulous place... the fruit is so well displayed.... lots of things to try... nice little cafe where you can get a good tea/coffee or a very reasonably priced breakfast. Definitely worth walking through.

A very good range of local produce - fruit and veg, cheese, maple syrup, fudge - at very reasonable prices.

Unfortunately, we couldn't buy much during our stroll thru the market as most are consumable goods you have to prepare. However, just to view the beautiful strawberries, apples, pasta, beans and other fruits and veggies is truly a treat! I wish we had these beautiful crops in Orlando. If I'm every back in Quebec City with an apartment for lodging,... More
