+ : small park , nice , polar bears!!! Nice outdoor space , water play , child play , the view of the bridges pleasant , the immersions are pleasant. -: the spaced Aquarium are small, crowd bath, visit one after the other. We did it because it allowed us to make a stop on our way! The kids liked it, for us adults it was average.

    A fun afternoon
If you have time to spare, a visit here is a fun way to spend part of your day. The layout is interesting with animals housed outside as well as inside. During my visit, there were baby manta rays to pet and on another floor you could get up close to starfish too. Be sure to checkout the eerily beautiful rooms of glowing jellyfish.

    Good for kids.
Good for kids. Underwhelming for adults. There’s a daily seal show (about 15 min long). Artic fox and polar bears x2. Touchable manta rays and star fish.

    Small aquarium
This aquarium is so cute! It is much smaller than we thought it would be, but it offers interesting features to touch animals, a small tunnel and outdoor exhibits. The main reason we came was to see the polar bears, and we only saw one bear which was in an outdoor exhibit with a small section of water. Not much info on their website but we assumed it would be in an indoor/arctic/cool exhibit. It was still cute, but probably wouldn’t go back again.

A nice little aquarium, Kids would love it but it won't take a ton of time to see it. Not a lot of critters, mostly fish. Kids can touch stingrays and check out sea anenome and starfish. Mostly outdoors except for the actual aquarium part. There are 2 polar bears who seem to be quite active, seals, otters, owls, and a fox who was hiding as it was monsooning when we were there.

    Aquarium Trip
The aquarium part was okay, but because I had been to Ripleys in Toronto it was not comparable to that experience. Still enjoyed the creatures though. I wish I had of gone when school was back because unfortunately alot of the people would allow their children to bud infront of you or even run over your feet with their strollers with no apology. One thing that was a good experience was that you could see the polar bear and foxes pretty up close compared to some other zoos. It's a small space and my husband and I were able to go through everything in about an hour or two max.

    Enjoyable, not riveting
There were some quite interesting venues here but also some closed for whatever reason/renos that put a damper on it somewhat. Look to spend a couple hrs there and that should be enough. Construction in the area was a bit of a hassle dealing with but you figure it out. Thought it a bit pricey for what was there and what was not available. A nature lover visiting Quebec should check it out though.

We took a day trip from Montreal to the aquarium in Quebec as we were on a weekend trip from Ontario. We usually go to the Ripleys aquarium in Toronto and have also been to it numerous times. Its kinda expensive in my opinion. This one is much cheaper and is kinda cool cause its an outdoor zoo as well. They have a tunnel but its not the best...but its ok for the kids. The fish looked a little hurting iMO. The value comes in the outdoor area which reminds me of marine land in a way. They have sea lions and manatee and polar bears but no bears when we went. Still closed. Bummer. Worth one visit.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience. We are sure some of your advice will help further visitors. The polar bears were in Cochrane Ontario considering we were renovating their habitat at that moment. The are back among us now. Thank you again for sharing your experience among us. See you soon!

Advice:
-bring your meal, because there is a children's play area, water games and obstacle courses.
-several restaurants were closed when we were there (lack of staff?) So don't count too much on this option.

For comparison, I found Ripley's in Toronto to be better laid out. Some windows need to be replaced because they are damaged and it is difficult to see clearly.
The polar bears were a nice surprise, but with the foxes, owls and others, I wonder if it really fits with the mission of this aquarium?

This is a beautiful aquarium but perhaps November wasn't the best time to visit. The indoor displays were great, especially the jellyfish. However, the outdoor displays were pretty sparse this time of year. That said, we did enjoy the Artic Fax display.
Free parking was definitely a plus and we were impressed by the very large children's play area.

Arrived at 5 people at 2:30 p.m....after 135$....returned at 3:30 p.m....we just saw 10 jellyfish and seahorse aquariums.
Ah if .....stingrays to caress...that's all!!!No artic foxes , no bears, no seals ... Just empty pools ....a kind volunteer who shows us the video she made to prove that bears exist ...we dream!!
Well we are in work!!!!
Just a scam ... they shouldn't open , a modicum of respect for visitors ... not even an apology when we talked about it with employees on the way out.

The aquarium is so run down. It needs to be cleaned up and updated. The enclosures for the seals and polar bears seemed filthy and quite sparse. We even saw a number of rats running around the polar bar enclosure. Inside the aquarium it was difficult to see many of the fish on exhibit because the glass was too dirty. The tunnel was too short and there wasn’t much to see. It was very disappointing.

The jellyfish room is exceptional. The interior aquarium is worth seeing but the tunnel supposedly filled with fish was almost empty and explanations were provided on this subject. The bottom of the pool and the environment where the sea lions bathe is shabby and needs a lot of love. Previously, there were really interesting outdoor shows of walruses and sea lions, which no longer exist today.

Lovely family activity. Impressed by the diverse jellyfish displays, up close to young polar bear brothers, and friendly ray touch tank. There was a fun natural playground outside overlooking the river. Also don’t miss the mesmerizing giant pacific octopus!

It’s a smaller aquarium, but still good value for the money. It’s well laid out. Both inside and outside areas have lots of interesting animals. It’s actually the only place we’ve ever seen walrus or polar bears - so that was fantastic! The “tunnel” was disappointingly short - as soon as you enter it, you can see the exit. It’s really only a few paces in length.

This was a great aquarium. It had lots to see and provided a few hours of entertainment for our family. There were a couple touch tanks that we spent lots of time at and the staff were knowledgeable/helpful and spoke well, in English. There were a couple small sharks, that my kids thought were cool

It is surprising to see so many rats on an aquarium site.

The polar bear zone should deserve a rat sign. So many rats that we see them without even paying attention. In addition, we also came across rats while going to buy food.

More fish and fewer rats please.
