We spent our last ( rainy) day in lovely Quebec at the aquarium in Sainte Foy. The jelly fish were good but otherwise the tanks were small and fish / creatures had limited space. The seals looked depressed and their pool was dirty and uninspiring. No sign of the polar bears -what a shame it could be really lovely there with some real investment and imagination.

The aquarium is so run down. It needs to be cleaned up and updated. The enclosures for the seals and polar bears seemed filthy and quite sparse. We even saw a number of rats running around the polar bar enclosure. Inside the aquarium it was difficult to see many of the fish on exhibit because the glass was too dirty. The tunnel was too short and there wasn’t much to see. It was very disappointing.

Very disappointed in this aquarium. Poorly maintained tanks . The outdoor animal
Enclosures are rundown. Nothing more than a slightly glorified zoo

It’s not a huge aquarium but it’s well done. The jellyfish exhibit was amazing and the hands on starfish and sting rays were great.
We bought tickets in advance and arrived late afternoon and walked right in. Exhibits were crowded but still manageable.

It is very nice, but if you have been to Ripley's in Toronto it is much smaller. We loved the outdoor Polar Bears, Seals, Foxes and Owls. There is quite a bit of wear and tear on the facility, but it was a lovely morning spent there. The jellyfish were wonderful!

We enjoyed the fish displays however the playground, splash pad, and obstacle courses were the highlight for my kids.
After seeing other reviews, I thought it might be depressing for the mammals, but I didn’t think it was very different than other zoos I have been to. The polar bears were very active and that was fun.
My recommendations:
1. Bring a picnic lunch.
2. Bring swimsuits for the splash pad.
3. We saw the fish first and then had lunch at the picnic area and spent a long time there and then visited the mammals on the way out. We were there a little over 3 hours but a lot of that was playground time.

Loved seeing the jellyfish and touching the stingrays. The polars bears were exotic.
It took us just over an hour to see everything. The displays were well laid about and fish/animals visible for pictures.

Since it was a little rainy and cold out, my dad and I went to the aquarium.
It takes about 2 to 3 hours to slowly walk around to see the exhibits.
It was a very interesting and enjoyable way to spend the morning.
I liked seeing the polar bear, Arctic Fox, the owls, and fishes.
If you have the time, it is nice to visit.

Lovely family activity. Impressed by the diverse jellyfish displays, up close to young polar bear brothers, and friendly ray touch tank. There was a fun natural playground outside overlooking the river. Also don’t miss the mesmerizing giant pacific octopus!

bonjour,
Il y a t'il un parking pour le stationnement ?

Aucun souci pour le parking. Il y a en un devant l'entrée de l'aquarium et un autre un peu avant de rentrer sur le site. Ils sont assez grand, gratuit et facile d'accès. Bonne visite.
