A new multimedia/multisensory adventure awaits, a mere stone's throw from the Orford Express and Omaterra. Witness the birth of the Appalachian Mountains and cross the lava fields. Feel the continents shift and the glaciers retreat as the earth trembles and the temperature soars, then plunges... You'll never see the Eastern Townships quite the same way again! Be sure to stop by the permanent exhibition "The Cycle of the Seasons," which showcases the finest plant and animal specimens in southern Québec! Consult the program for temporary exhibitions and events.

We went with teens who found it geared for younger people. Still, there was plenty to enjoy, such as stuffed/mounted specimens of many animals, birds, insects, etc. There was a cool earthquake simulator that we enjoyed, too. Very friendly staff.

Nice museum, the permanent collection is nicely presented and the temporary ones are always very interactive. For anyone in the Sherbrooke area with young children, the yearly pass is a great deal. Inexpensive and a nice way to spend those rainy Sunday mornings!

This museum isn't that big but the exhibits were really good. The exhibits around ''La petite vie'' was really good and was enjoyed by everybody in the family. I would recommend stopping by if you are in town.

A very helpful bilingual staff made this museum quite enjoyable. As it is a smaller museum, I would only plan about 2 hours and that includes the 30 minute interactive movie. Well worth it.

This museum is quite small. The Terra Mutantes (only in french) is a little scary for young children, and at our end of the table the effects didn't work. The taxidermy exposition was quite extensive, and our kids enjoyed looking at the various local and...More
