This was well worth the 1/2 hour it took to see the simple chapel, inscriptions and relics behind the altar.

Not a whole lot going on here but a nice place to pop into while walking by. I'm not a religious person but can still appreciate the beauty of old churches.

Walking by it is just 15 minutes to check the church with its history. Good on a picture and from here you have a nice view on the river and beach. Then you go along

Oldest wooden church... loved the setting & simplicity of building & altar. Can peek in & enjoy setting for free or donate to see small exhibit

Pretty little church on the walk from the main town down to the beach. Fine going down but its a bit of a drag on the return journey. However, a beer in the micro brewery seemed to help.

A trip back in time. Wonderful artefacts. Agent at desk could be better informed on the history of the chapel. Some stupid grafitti by stupid youngsters. Cemetery is also interesting.

This little chapel overlooks a small bay of the St-Laurent River and sits right next to an interesting cemetery. The interior is beautiful in its simplicity. It also houses a small but interesting museum about the place's history. Entrance is free.

Beautiful, old church, full of history and interesting artifacts, dating back to the mid-1700's. Gave us a glimpse of what life must have been like 300 years ago!

This purports to be the oldest wooden church in North America. It is small and simple, has a small museum with the history of the church and Catholic settlement in the area.
