Before you head over and visit this church, read up on the history, specifically the Miracle of the Eyes and the Miracle of the Rosary Bridge. There's a restaurant in the premises as well as a large gift shoppe to buy souvenirs.

If you are visiting Trois-Rivieres it is well worth making the short drive to this site which has become famous as the location where two miracles are said to have occurred. In 1879 the parishioners of the small church that existed on the site decided...More

Many reviews exist to praise the aural and visual experience to uplift the soul in the main basilica here; I'd like to add the special closeness to Mary that the old chapel provides (it's the chapel miraculously built of stones dragged across the ice of...More

If you are in the Trois-Rivieres area and are looking for this basilica on GPS, search for Notre Dame du Cap, not the English name given here. The basilica itself is very nice; it is a more modern cathedral with an unusual shaped vaulted dome...More

The church was gorgeous, albeit underwhelming considering the churches in Montréal. It had great views of the water and a cute garden.

This religious and cultural heritage site is open to visitors. We stroll in the gardens. The historic chapel, built in 1720, and the large basilica with its impressive stained glass are worth the detour. Picnic area, restaurant, gift shop are available. We also see the...More

This is an awesome shrine. There is a lot to do around the cathedral. You can walk in the gardens and cross the ''Pont des Chapelets''. You can also fish in the St-Lawrence River from the harbor ( be sure to buy a fishing permit...More

This was a lovely area, with interesting history and beautiful location. We stopped here while driving from Montreal to Quebec City and then took the kings highway for a portion of the drive. There is the original church from the 1700's as well as the...More
