ust a sad small town with backward thinking running things. For example, they're gouging people with $35 parking fines downtown. An empty downtown with old coin operated parking meters. In a pandemic. At a time when everyone, everywhere, has stopped using physical currency to help stop the spread. That don't matter in this apparent hillbilly haven. They seemingly haven't seen the simple system a city just South has. Too complicated for the city managers to use I'm guessing. I guess the money was better spent on fancy brick and block work for their pump houses and lift stations. As well as their water treatment facility. The city charges homeowners exorbitant property tax, then heaps another huge monthly water+sewer+garbage fee on top of that. Then threatens to publish people's names and cut off their services when people are struggling during a pandemic. Want another clue to how backward? The city has a radio station completely dedicated to playing 80's and 90's hits ...

It is not a big museum, but very well done. There was lots of interesting, historical items and facts about PA. It was very clean and well organized. There was a cute little tea room upstairs that wasn’t open because of covid. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend taking the tour, as it was interesting to hear about some of the history from a knowledgeable person who shared a few stories and facts we wouldn’t have heard if we walked through on our own.

I enjoy hitting museum's, and for PA this one has a good range of items to either bring back some great memories or to educate you on the past. I have gone here a couple times and it is always worth it.

Not well organized . Good location. Poorly advertised hours of operations. Renovations would be welcomed for a more welcoming atmosphere
