I drove from the south end of Regina on a bitterly cold day, only to find that the museum was closed by 2:40 pm on the afternoon of Friday, January 30, 2015, without any apology or explanation. This museum is educational and fun! Great location and easy access. Continually updating, so the exhibits are always fresh!

We were looking forward to visiting the plains museum but when we got to the first landing there was a sing stating they were moving and would be closed. There was no forwarding address left. So sad.

Hard to find. Good place to waste some time while you wait for a table in one of the busier restaurants at lunch. It should be free, but it is not.

This is a small free museum in the downtown area so easy to pop into if you're shopping there. Its a local history museum with exhibits concerning the way of life in the past and photos of significant events like the tornado that demolished part of the town. The best bit while it lasts is the field of corn currently... More

Offering dinosaurs, geographical information, plains indians exhibits, RCMP exhibits, information on Louis Riel and the flora and fauna of the Saskatchewan. Great museum and surrounded by park for picnics and playing frisbee or whatever with the kids.
