My wife and I have been going to Beaver Creek 2-3 times a year for 10 years. feed the chickadees from your hand. Take a lunch and eat it on the trail. Very handy to Saskatoon

We popped into beavers creek on our way to Regina. The trails were lovely and covered in snow! We got to feed the chickadees for free (there were loads!) and caught a glimpse of a hare, chipmunk and various birds. The beaver exhibition downstairs was cool and the staff were really friendly and willing to chat.

Husband and I went for a walk and fed the chickadees bird seed out of our hands. Magical! Went a second time with my adult daughter because she wanted to have that experience also.

This is an wonderful park nestled in the valley of Beaver Creek and extends to the mouth of the creek as it enters the South Saskatchewan River. The park features an excellent interpretive center and many great hiking trails that take you to the waters edge. This is a super area to experience all the four seasons by seeing the... More

Beaver Creek is my favorite location outside the city. My son and I visited frequently when he was young, even had his birthday parties out there on the deck and hired staff for an educational adventure. Now I visit to do my water colours as the scenery is second to none, and if you go in Winter or late Fall... More

Went for an afternoon walk. It was very quiet. It is great that there are different trails that accommodate different skill levels. We did the shortest trail as our youngest wasn't quite three yet. Our five year still talks about going back to do the other trails.

This is an excellent place to bring your family. I took 2 of my grandsons ages 5 and 8. They had been here before and were excited to go again. The area has a great selection of hiking trails to choose that can be as short as 17 minutes to over an hour. The site is wheelchair accessible and even... More

Lots of interesting walks that were quite easy for kids and grandparents. Take your time and look for all kinds of interesting wildlife. We saw many species of birds and the grandkids enjoyed the trails.

We enjoy it for hikes in the summer and snow shoeing in the winter. Took our kids there, and now take our grand kids. And it is FREE!

This is a fairly good place for a family walk, just be very very careful early in the season as the ticks can be a nightmare.
