Lots of great places for photo ops. I would recommend this place in the fall time. Just be prepared to share the spot with the rest of the shutter bugs

We have often walked these trails with family. There's something for everyone in the grassy parks to play frisbee, the close river to kayak, paddle board and canoe, the children's spray park and benches to just sit and watch.

Great place to walk the dog or just walk and enjoy the outdoors. If you wish you can take family or friends and have a picnic or BBQ at the picnic grounds. If you wish, you can walk along the river or stay up on the paved path.

The trails provide a very scenic view of the river. Maps along the trail give you an idea where you are. Definitely worth the effort to check out.

If anyone would love a lovely walk just go to the Meewasin-there is much to see and enjoy. This summer we watched two beavers swimming close to the river bank-the didn't seem bothered by the people observing them.

Thank you for your review. The Meewasin Trail ranked as the top thing Saskatonians like about walking in Saskatoon, according to a 2015 survey. The natural habitat along the riverbank enhances the experience for many, along with the many attractions and beautifully landscaped parks. My kids and I have taken our dogs and walked the trails on warm days. It is beautiful. I love the scenery and my kids seem to find stuff to explore. The trails are well kept. The only thing that bugs me is the abundance of bicycles on the paths. It's bothersome having to constantly be dodging them.
