Have been going to Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan for decades. They continue to surpass all expectations and the venue is absolutely wonderful.

We make it to a play every year. There is usually some fimiliar cast and some new recruits but the plays are always great to see.

Our city is blessed to have such a beautiful setting for theatre in a tent. We enjoyed a perfect summer evening in August for the last performance of Merry Wives of Windsor. The site is very pretty, with lots of flower planters. There is pre-show...More

Thank you for the kind words. We are working hard with the City of Saskatoon to improve parking and access to our site - it's an ongoing process. We are also planning a major re-development of the site to more permanent structures and yes....new chairs!

We’ve been to many performances over the years and have never been disappointed. This year it was The Merry Wives of Windsor. Typical of Shakespearean comedy, the first half was chaotic, but second half was hilarious. SotS has added cushions for the seats which do...More

An exceptional experience with great actors. Seating leaves a lot to be desired (uncomfortable even with cushions, and some chairs much too close together for the length of a play). Absolutely the way to make an enjoyable weekend taking in more than one performance!

I hadn’t been to SotS for decades and returned to see Hamlet with my 18 year old son. It was a lovely experience from entering the grounds! A slam poet performing, flowers and a comfortable, welcoming environment. Take advantage of grabbing a cushion to sit...More

What a great performance. This was my first time going and wasn't sure what to expect, but it was great. If you've always been curious about it, just go. Loved it.

An afternoon of spectacular delight. Filled with drama, intrigue, and a little humor. Oh what a lovely acted performance. I enjoyed every minute. You would be sad to be the one person to have missed this. My extreme thanks to all the actors whom gave...More
