Excellent tours! Our family booked with Northern Tales the aurora borealis, dog sled, and snowmobile tours and we really enjoyed all of them. Everyone is super nice since the time of booking all the way to the actual tours. All guides were great, well informed, and very nice. On the Aurora Borealis tours they explained everything about auroras, the camp, how to figure out the correct settings to take pictures with your camera, and even took great pictures with their company's camera (which later can be downloaded). For the dog sledding and snowmobile tours they booked us with a company located higher in the mountain in order to guarantee enough snow in April so that we could enjoy the experiences. Both of these tours were also incredible. Our family really enjoyed everything offered by Northern Tales and we recommend their services.…

Thanks to the staffs at Northern Tales, it was a very nice trip. It was only a two night stay, but I was lucky to see the big and fast moving aurora. I'm in Canada to study English, so I'm still not good at English, but the staff spoke slowly and the Japanese staff helped me. Also, although I am a camera beginner, the staff taught me the settings and I was able to take beautiful pictures of the aurora. My mother wants to see the aurora, so I'll be back someday. …

Couldn’t recommend enough! We knew going in that the lights aren’t guaranteed and just wanted to have a fun night. They picked us up from our hotel, took us to a large open field with no light pollution and everyone was super excited to be there. The cabin they have there is super cozy and warm, great for relaxing when it got too chilly. They also had an outdoor fire pit going as well so you could keep warm while still keeping an eye on the action. Our guide was super knowledgeable (shoutout to Atsushi!) about the lights themselves, photography, and the Yukon itself. We got to stay out there for a few hours before being dropped home. We were incredibly lucky to see a lot of movement and activity from the lights when we went. We also are not avid photographers so we didn’t bring any cameras with us, we were so lucky they offered free, professional photographs to capture it for us. I would highly recommend these guys, super professional and just the best experience all round!…

This trip to visit the Yukon has been long in coming and turned out to be a wonderful learning experience about the area and an opportunity to meet some of the absolutely wonderful people who call the Yukon home! We were sad that weather did not cooperate and we missed seeing the lights but the other adventures of dog sledding, tour of the town and a visit to the wildlife park more than made up for what we missed. The guides who showed us their home we all wonderful and so full of knowledge. A great time was had by all of us and some of us are planning to return for further explorations in this beautiful part of Canada. I would recommend amending your "Who was with you" list to include just "Family" We were a group of six adult family members, siblings and cousins. Five of the six were 70+ years old!…
