Miles Canyon, a few miles outside central Whitehorse, offers a number of pleasant walking paths through the woods that line both sides of the canyon. On a sunny day the striking blue waters are certainly worth viewing. All in all, very tranquil. Bring good quality...More

This is a dramatic natural feature, where the Yukon River has cut its way down through a flow of basaltic lava, which flowed about 8.5 million years ago. Some nice hiking trails on one side of the river.

This beautiful canyon is reminiscent of the Grand Canyon, originally a portage point in the late 1800s, the latter White Pass and Yukon route are easily seen. The road ends at a hydro-electric power plant.

The canyon on a sunny day is well worth the drive from Whitehorse. It is an excellent walk and there is a suspension bridge for a bit more excitement. Watch your kids on the rim walk as it is very close to the edge and...More

I have NO idea. Just because I was there does not mean that I know all the information about the place. You would need to contact their website or travel information for that city. Sorry, I can't help.

This area is closed in the winter time. So in the summertime, renting a bicycle is also a great idea! You could then take the trails and check out more of the area.
