Tatshenshini/Alsek 10 day Expedition

We did the ten day Tatshenshini/Alsek raft. We have done a lot of rafting, and this was an amazing experience, with world class scenery, fun rafting and awesome guides. Thank you Max, Andrew, Peter and Aline for your expertise, enthusiasm and culinary skills. You helped make this a trip of a lifetime. The extraordinary good weather helped, but the key was the enthusiasm and skill of our guides

Paddle whitewater with Yukon legends

We just finished the packraft course over the weekend with the Tat Crew. One of the best courses I've ever taking and I haven't had that much fun on the water in years. You literally get to paddle with whitewater legends - Bob, Kevin, Will and their team of misfits are simply the best up here. I can't say enough of how great our experience was. Ran the Tatshenshini in a packraft and we all felt very much taken care of, incredibly safe and I haven't smiled that much on a river since I was a kid. Tat crew are simply legendary!

What a Ride!

I thoroughly enjoyed this rafting experience! The owner and guides are enthusiastic, fun,and have a great sense of adventure, all the while keeping your safety ensured.

If you're looking for an awesome rafting experience this is the one!!

What an amazing experience

I decided to do this with my sister and Canadian friends and this was definitely worth the drive! Our guide (Kevin) was just amazing, engaging and knows the river well. All the staff, Kevin, Raf and the crew were just awesome and I am glad I added this to my trip while in the country. Definitely on the list to do again during my next visit!

Amazing day out!

We booked this with some trepidation as we were a party of 12, some older, some much younger and some not very adventurous. But we needn’t have worried, the team at Tatshenshini Expediting were reassuringly confident and professional. Kitting out was very organised and we were soon ready for our safety briefing. About 9 boats and the lunch boat headed off downstream. Our guide Alison was happy to make the ride as smooth or wild as we wanted. Lunch stop was great with plenty of food and hot drinks. All the guides worked as a great team to give us an amazing day out. I really recommend this and would definitely go again if we were back in the area.

Family Fun Day

This was out first white water rafting experience with the family (2 adults, 2 teens). The starting location is a little out of the way and hard to find, but the organization is professional and the guides are knowledgeable and fun. Well worth it while in Whitehorse. If you can, plan to go after a few days of rain - the higher water levels are better for white water.

Level 1 Canoe course

wow, I had a great time, improved my technique so much, feel so much more confident and all this after a weekend course! The advice I got from the staff was bang-on. The practice on the Takhini river also makes for a gorgeous day trip. Plus, I met awesome people that I did not know before. Thanks so much, Kevin, Nathalie, Holy, Logan and my fellow canoers! I will definitely take more courses and trips with Tatshenshini Expiring Day Trips.

The Tat Rocks!

My wife and I had the pleasure to join a Tatshenshini Expediting day trip, the staff were friendly and the guides were a lot of fun. We saw a number of bald eagles during our run and the whole afternoon was a wonderful memory of Kluane National Park area. Thanks so much!

Best Rafting I've Done

We did the Tutshi River day trip. Outstanding. It was definitely challenging for us (middle-aged, not athletic, average fitness). We were tired at the end but felt very fulfilled. I can understand why they don't take children on this trip. I was surprised at how difficult some of the rapids looked but had complete faith in the staff to get us through. They were all helpful, fun, and professional. Our raft flipped in one rapid. I was scared for a few moments but it all worked out well. The safety gear protected us and the staff were calm and in control. I'm glad now that we did flip. It added to the challenge and adventure. Two of the four rafts in our group flipped. I was worried about wearing heavy warm clothes underneath the wet suit but it wasn't necessary. You get lots of exercise and that keeps you warm. This is highly recommended.
