Lots to see - great variation of displays. The museum was in reno when we were there but still found it a great walk down the history trail.

Really well planned museum with a lot of great pieces. Very interesting stories and artifacts, as well a wildlife gallery of taxidermy animals. Though generally I'm not interested in stuffed animals, they are very well preserved and it was great to see the scale of...More

This Museum is not big. But it is a nice place to go to know Whitehorse history. Special the pictures show the time to build the Alaska highway.

Nice animal display of Taxidermy animals. Particularly enjoyed the Alcan Highway history and pictures in the basement. Lots of artifacts everywhere. Check out the duck coat near the desk.

Construction makes me want to go back when they will add even more. Feels"folksy" and "professional" at the same time and I am not sure how they pull that off. Good mix of physical and human history. Conjured the past and places well.

Spent a pleasant afternoon strolling through the exhibits. Lots of interesting artifacts from gold rush days. They are undergoing renovations but are still open.

As others have said, there are renos right now. It's open though. A surprising amount to see, and a nice layout. It looks like they plan to add quite a bit!
